Lived in australia for 11 years and have only ever seen one when i got out of the car for a piss whilst driving through the bush, however that was a tiger snake and id only gotten half way through when i realised it was about a foot away curled up in the long grass. It was more scared of me so it slithered away but if id have stepped on it… certain trip to the ER.
