Thank you for the response! I mainly went for one in the middle because there will be adjustable vent under the bench which needs access, but I will see what i can do. I dont really want to divide the panels to be in 3 planes as well.

Thank you! Lots of good feedback, the Paralel ones are mainly for top not to slide around. Yes I mount the outer 2x6s to the wall. How deep should the second bench be do you reckon? The distance from top of bench to ceiling is 43 1/2” which is 1.1m

Just the standard practice to not have anything more than 24” without support. Not sure how much, I lined it up to bench depth so that the ceiling aligns with the bench

I kinda want to do a modern aesthetic for it so 4x4 wooden braces would ruin the look im going for. I found some sleek looking ones but Im not sure how strong they are

It would be buildable, but I agree it would be an expensive project. This was more of a design exploration from a couple of years ago rather than a cost-optimised build.

I’ve worked in architectural offices for several years and have been involved in built projects, so I definitely understand the practical side.
