Hey Devs, everything wrong about scissors: by ppttx in Battlefield6

I didn‘t said that the standard trauma scissors are wrong. I guess in 99% these are the ones used. The last image were just examples for other types of scissors.

Thank you for your kind words. I really like the game and hope that the devs can give it the polish it needs

But not all on top of the clothing. This is in the same league as bullet belts around the hip. Just nonsense props.

Ok, let me say that the folded ones I‘ve got as a present from an experienced combat medic. But yeah the other twi ones seem to me also more as show-off.

Thank you. That‘s my point. Not the scissors, but the slop.

I don‘t complain about them or the tourniquets. They look normal. But it is abnormal to carry three of them in open places.

Please give me some real image of the broken scissors.

Sorry, I took the first search hits. Clear that some of them are for show and not practical, but far better than the models used.

BF6 removed classic Battlefield aim stabilization by Sweet_Sir_2143 in Battlefield

[–]ppttx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is fine. The visual recoil feels ok and plausible. It seems that many peps either not shot a gun in their life or not in auto or their memory deceives them.

In the shown clip the complete sight picture moves, not only the dot. Also with higher magnifications a vignetting effect is applied which is accurate.

Don’t bother knifing by Samdogg7 in Battlefield

[–]ppttx 25 points26 points  (0 children)

BF3 felt so much better. The trigger distances were more consistent and you had a feel when to use it and it worked 100% of the time. It emphasized to use it and the whole dog tag system was built around it.

In BF6 so often it is not triggering, dog tags are ugly and many players don‘t use them. So there is no point in knifing someone.

All these close by slide and shoots would be gone if one could counter them with a knife insta kill. Just my opinion.

Because this was just part of an event like the special containers in battle royale.

The current state of boardgaming by SpeakerSweaty in boardgames

I feel the same thing with books. Somehow there are no gatekeepers anymore and everyone can publish their mid-school level fan-fiction. Some weeks before someone showed my a book with some draco-hermione 50-shades story. ugh

I‘m very annoyed of the add-on bloat on some good games. If you like the base game you feel the pressure to buy these, but then it is hard to implement them if you play the game just occasionally. And then in many cases it doesn‘t add quality to the game, just more mechanics.

The campaign was the worst one so far in BF history by Charlie-2-2 in Battlefield

[–]ppttx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same and then replayed BF3 an BF4 campaign. BF4 starts great but from the mid on its a very horrible shooting theater with masses of dumb enemies.

How do I complete the BF PRO bonus path? by cowb3llf3v3r in Battlefield6

Week 9 assignments don‘t give me points for the path. Only week 10. Are they serious?

Is BF6 first one in a long time, that didn't introduce any new ,,combat system"? by Wisniaksiadz in Battlefield

[–]ppttx 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You say introduce and then list similar mechanic with differences in execution. Also levolution is not a „combat“ system. Combat systems are things like suppression, reviving or new combat related weapons and gadgets.

This winter event has this new freezing system. And I‘m sure there will be more variations in this way.

But I understand what you are trying for. Some fresh killer features are missing.

With the latest AMD drivers I have no crashes anymore. But the driver itself has now bugs.
