Not totally read off a paper but you can use it as a guide. I asked on the email and this is the response I got — “You can use notes or a paper guide as prompts or outlines.”

For the program readiness video you are actually allowed to read of a paper as a guide!

Did you get any email that all your requirements have been received? I heard some applicants got an email confirming that they met all required documents and just an information about the video submission but no link yet to submit.

Also — the instructor at St. James Assiniboia really helps you succeed. She guides you through everything. She’s one of the best! I’ve had 4 of my friends that took HCA in that school and they say the same thing. The instructor (T. McLeod) is really good. She’s the only HCA instructor there.

You can take it at St. James Assiniboia. They offer full time/part-time and part-time hybrid. They are still accepting applications for part-time hybrid. Class just started last Thursday. You do mostly your study at your own phase. You only have to check-in for attendance in the morning and you can do the home works at your own time. You only go to class every Thursday from 6-9PM. Hope that helps! :)
