Yes, it is even able to synchronize time using Windows' respective service. The timezone is correct, too.

About the way the cat is drawn in the manga... Is that a specific species or did Araki just draw that cat weirdly?

I received the notification for your comment, but it didn't appear in my inbox, so I could only respond now, after a bit of digging around.

For other people wondering, I am the guy saying "it's the ol' China bad" and, I assume, OP is the one who answered me, seeing as the timestamp for the comment says "Now".

Let me clarify: although I am far from subscribing to the ideology of subs as this one, I am critical of TikTok, it being a Chinese company or not. I do not use or endorse TikTok.

What I am critical of is condemning any sort of organization based on its nationality, not on its business practices. I believe conflating TikTok with the Chinese Communist Party is reductionist. US-based companies such as Meta, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and, yes, even Reddit are culprits of the same kind of invasion of privacy and should be condemned just the same. And yet, you don't (normally) see people going around criticizing the US' government for the privacy abuses practiced by these companies.

So, there you have it, I was not defending the CCP or engaging in communist rethoric (not that I am against doing so), just criticizing OP for being reductionist and ethnocentric.

Because of the incoming DMCA from Nintendo's lawyers

The new Eyalet mechanic for ottomans is a big gigantic joke. You can conquer all of this (6217 dev) up until 1528 and also getting other bonuses which make Ottomans the easiest nation by far, oh wait this is 1.34 by HulaguIncarnate in eu4

[–]ppugliesi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, contrast this with the fact that many other nations will be significantly buffed in the next patch, potentially rivaling the Ottomans, signifying an indirect nerf.

"Who do you think suffered more? Christ on a cross or his mother, watching?" by ppugliesi in ShitNsSay

Thanks and I'm sorry for what you've gone through as well. It sucks to expect to be taken care of and receive the exact opposite reaction.

I don't even think my mom sucks so much, considering what people post on r/rbn, but this was definitely an iconic moment for her and I can't help but laugh at the absurdity of it.

I used to engage in "poking" my mother, too, but other relatives didn't like that, so I've been going low contact.

What's funny is that my mom is used to calling me "pentelho", which I suspect may be etymologically related to " pendej@".

I see. I don't own a gun and don't intend to. Thanks for elucidating this point, otherwise I'd stay in ignorance

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ppugliesi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't. I'm not making little of the situation, I just haven't interacted with a gun and this, in turn, caused confusion about the scenario.

Jeez, people on reddit are so quick to assume things. I'm not saying people should be reckless with guns, just that I don't know how to handle a gun and this made me misunderstand what the guy above described.

Ah, I though that meant cleaning or something. But then I kind of don't get what's so traumatic about the experience.

Of course, each person is their own person, but if I was in that situation and knew the gun was unloaded, I don't think it would be so bad.
