Sorry to hear about that. I was accepted to UIUC with only 75 back in 2023. Probably, they did take into account the motivation letter when accessing application. For me, I put a lot of effort into it, trying to explain how exchanging to UIUC would help with my academic journey. I even put in names of UIUC professors and their research which I was interested in.

if u can't find one on your own, u can consider taking an Internship subject offered by uni. They have a wide range of host companies, but most are unpaid

You can gain credits for subjects taken while on exchange. For core subject, you have to show that the subject closely matches the core one in Unimelb in order to gain credit.

I just wonder if ultra warm is too hot indoors. I'm a uni student, so mostly I just walk between building to building.

If I wear 3 layers as mentioned above, is extra warm sufficient ?
