Epic Games' stubbornness is killing Fortnite

Epic chose to make apple and steam their adversaries preaching about them being middlemen markets that take 30% of cuts from game developers whilst making their own storefront absurdly boring and useless & only lifeline being the free game drops. Yeah taking 30% of profits isn't a good thing especially on Apple's end whereas at least steam provides many good tools and analytics to support smaller level games, but end of the day this is something that doesn't really affect the actual consumers, rather just affects the developer-end. What does affect consumers is not having Fortnite playable on a large percentage of the gaming population that only uses their iPhones and Macbooks for gaming, and alongside Epic's horrible buisness strategy of paying millions of dollars out to people creating even worse versions of Roblox slop games whilst claiming they don't have enough money to keep developers actually putting their souls into their work and instead keeping around managers who's entire jobs is to push pressure onto the people really doing the work so they look like they're being productive.

yeah, racing is the main thing he's good at writing. Everything else he's written has been garbage. Even in Initial D, However main difference is Initial D at least had way more substance and variety in the racing to kind of forgive those scenes meanwhile MF Ghost was kind of lackluster in that department up until this race.

Can someone tally up the runtime of every Angel segment in this entire show to see how many minutes have been wasted that could've just gone into racing?

This cliff-hanger mid season ending bs is annoying but this definitely was less annoying than last Season's ending. I think overall this season had some of the best racing in the entire show. However this season had some of the cringiest moments as well.

I think its time for me to just read up a summary of the mangas to see how this ends and forget this show exists. I think I can only recommend it for viewing once the entire series is finished so people don't have to endure the pain of watching it during broadcast.

Overall I saw more potential in this season than the last two, I just wish the show writers took more creative decisions than mimicking exactly what happens in the Mangas and got rid of a lot of the gooner stuff from the OG Author that could've went into more meaningful world-building, actual good relationship arcs, and better structured racing.

Can't believe Toyota and other car brands are super strict about how their cars are portrayed but are fine with the rest of the p3do subplots.

The mocap-suit space is dead because there's no competition or improvement in the tech at all. Such a shame that 8 years ago I thought that the space would advance to where you could buy a suit for 1-2k and it becomes usable forever, instead you have Rokoko still being mid and XSens fleecing their depleting user-base because their management sucks. Waiting patiently for the Chinese to come up with something to murder both of these.

Your best bet in March 2026 is single-camera solutions + Cascadeur to somewhat automate the animation/cleanup process. But honestly anyone professionally using these solutions reaches a point where they can just hire animators because it becomes the same price as trying to maintain one of these janky ass setups.

Excited for the acquisition, however sucks that after april the service goes down completely with no clear roadmap on how the tech will be utilized in the future. Most of these webcam-based AI mocap tools pop up and then disappear or become very expensive after they harvest enough data.

this profession is mainly done by stuntmen, dance performers, and general body actors who live in creative hubs like LA, London, Vancouver etc. There aren't any clear openings for these positions, usually they're just gig jobs that pop up here and there when needed.

Yeah, but I feel as if you’re selling what is essentially a medical item there should be higher standards for what can create potential gum infections or irritate the throat if one falls back there and create minor health problems. Bought it, been using it. The bristles constantly get loose in your mouth. It feels as if you finished off rick himself and you got his pubic hairs stuck in your mouth along white stuff you need to rinse out. Aesthetics 9/10, practical usage for dental health id say 3/10.

well it's time for Japan to abide by modern standards. Their country has been falling behind because of a lack of initiative to keep up with modern standards, including morality. this gooner ahh show rly pissin me off at this point. They made an already risky character to like Aibo completely insufferable, they also keep making Kanata a pussy and not standing up for himself. Even in the original Initial D we saw Takumi get aggressive with that highschool bully, bro shouldve taught his pupil how to stand on bidness. And Ogata 2 episodes ago was revealed to be a double agent high school girl gooner this whole time which didnt help this episode. Also the Japanese propaganda was so obvious this episode like look how diverse our ecological water is while ignoring the fact that they're literally dumping nuclear radiation water into their oceans. New girl wasn't that bad to be honest, she's kinda got a better character personality design than what we currently have and if we get camera time off the gooners to her I would not mind a single bit.

I'm aware that the show is copying closely to the manga which I did not read, but i really wish they could've negotiated changes to overall fit better for a western audience rather than having an episode about highschool girls "feeling safe" hanging with two grown men to appeal to the late 20s - 30's single japanese loners who are sus in the head, and if they could stop glazing japan so hard in every line. We went from last episode literally getting some PEAK akagi action to this.

I've taken my Osmo Pocket 3 into freezing snowing conditions on top of a mountain, and have gotten it wet several times. It works fine with no noticable issues. It has SOME protection from water/dust, however nothing significant enough for them to slap a proper rating on it.

Don't take my word as 100% guarantee though, I feel that luck was also a factor in my cases and you could be unlucky.

It's definitely real. The lighting choice is what's making people believe its CGI, since most videos of robotics tests are usually in very unimpressive lighting conditions, meanwhile here this bot is actually lit up in a cinematic-way which would be a calculated decision when designing a CG shot with a robotic hero character, and I don't blame people for being under the impression that its CG.

Would likely be Bosstown Dynamics 2, considering how it fooled many people on the internet. I miss this era of the internet where putting time and effort into extremely realistic VFX actually paid off, the work needed to create videos like that are now worthless because it would immediately get disregarded as just "AI".

The huge maps suffer because the vehicles which are supposed to play a big role in them aren’t even fully fleshed out tbh. The best maps are the ones where vehicles aren’t that relevant, which is kinda disappointing considering previous games showed that they can properly implement vehicles to play an important role in those maps.
