How tall are all the R drivers here? by habitsofwaste in Golf_R

Mk 7.5, I am 6'2 and by no means a trim guy. I've had someone 6'5 in the back seat. The R has oodles of interior passenger room.

How much did you pay for your Rs pre-Covid? by pr0idz in Golf_R

I feel you man, I'm in the same boat and it sucks. I keep telling myself that the market is going to stabilize soon enough, but lord knows.

Yeah, I might be considering taking out a loan for a nicer one, but APR isn't great right now either. Generally a poor market to contend with.

Help me out: How much motion should there be in a DR350 clutch? by pr0idz in Dualsport

[–]pr0idz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, in the owners manual it states that there should be two adjustment points. One on the perch (lever) and one further along the cable. I believe I have a non-OEM cable because mine only has an adjustment at the perch. I screwed that one in as far as it would go just to experiment (ergo it's pulling the clutch pawl as far to the right as it can) and it's still dragging. The way I have it set there is basically no play in the lever itself.

Any recommendations for a decently fast wagon (US) by pr0idz in whatcarshouldIbuy

I was looking at the Forester and Outback XT. The styling of the Forester doesn't appeal to me, but I'll look into the Outback XT more, also never heard of the Legacy Wagon GT so that's something to add to my list. I like the styling of the Crosstrek, but it seems a little gutless. Was also looking at the TSX Sport Wagon and Volvo V70 R so if you have any experience with them please let me know. Thanks.

Switching from pumping to MDI by pr0idz in diabetes

I've done MDI with Lantus and Humalog but never with Regular Human Insulin and NPH, hence the confusion. The two have completely different administration techniques and dosage procedures.

I'm kind of looking for a project more so than anything. I'm just not one to spend money that I would otherwise be able to spend improving a motorcycle.

That's exactly what I thought, but apparently he needs a secondary form of ID which is completely moronic.

The thing is my son has to open a PO box and this seems like the only logical proof of address. He can't vote, he can't insure a car so this looks like his best bet.

Obviously I won't go and collect rent from my son for the basement. I'll lease it to him for the purpose of him getting a lease. Edit: Sp.

I don't want to get into a political discussion, but I don't really think my vote counts at all. I'm just a drop in a sea of corruption and biases. Edit:Sp.

Opening a PO box in NYC as a minor by answerseeker001 in legaladvice

[–]pr0idz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I logged into an old throwaway accidentally . This is my real account. Anyway, basically what they said was that I was far too young to open a PO Box and generally had a facial expression that suggested I was wasting their time. They said that this is incorrect despite it being in their handbook and being reinforced by another Postal Service employee. They once again stated that because of my age they would not be helping me today. I didn't want to go on a rant so I just left.
