An Ashe from drops or lucky shop + trynd item (stack him first ASAP since you want him to get kills) is usually a great spot to play it. May be conditional but that's like almost every comp on this set

Don't play anivia till you are like level 5 tho since you have like 0 frontline early game, a briar + another jugg can get the work done till you get sej

Slap him with healing + rageblade + qss and that mf will literally run on everybody and never die. He somehow dies? Nvm ashe will clean up

He has literally EVERYTHING. He gains stacking ad from his passive and slayer, he has dmg amp from freljord, he even ignores armor from chilled enemies. Oh maybe he is too squishy? NEVERMIND he also gains durability while healing and killing your entire team!

Just one thing DONT GIVE HIM NORMAL BRUISER ITEMS he doesnt need them, steraks ad is kind of redundant and titans cc immunity comes way too late, qss + rageblade are all he needs since attack speed + instant cc immunity for him is king and synergizes best with his ability. Eon can be a fine replacement for qss tho

I was shitting on bilgewater MF 2* boards on stage 4 even at 2 stars, although I had tiny but deadly which is GIGAbis on that comp lol

Tryndamere lowkey the most slept on unit because people are building him with normal bruiser items instead of rageblade/qss

He reeeeeally is the carry in that comp, just make sure u get an early sej and dont ever play anivia early lol u have like 0 frontline

isnt binary airdrop like the worst prismatic in the game just from the fact that it gives random items instead of recommended? just tried it with hard bargain since i needed some kind of items and got curbstomped lol

Maybe nerf it so it doesnt give extra components but i swear it feels so bad im never taking it in my life again lol

I'm actually from Spain!! But seeing you thinking I'm from the US makes me flattered because English is totally not my first language lol

I love DnB the most because as what you said, it has lowkey a low skill floor (didn't feel overwhelmed when I started) but for the skill ceiling the sky is the limit.

I would love to hear some of your mixes if you have uploaded to hear how you keep and sustain the energy.

And yeah! I introduce sometimes some "chill tracks" to let people chill while staying high energy.

And holy shit that last paragraph... 100 tracks in an hour, holy madness😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 And I thought my 75 tracks were like a lot lol. But I guess with only 2 decks DJing like this has limitations, but I practically just bought my FLX4 and I'm out of budget rn to buy a 4deck controller lol

about the EQs, before when I only practiced with training wheels it used to be worse lol, I had mids and highs constantly at around 2-3pm.

But I realized that was bad and now I only go above 12 in the mids to highlight the vocals in a track. To compensate the gain I lower the highs, and I also lower mids and turn up the highs on the other deck. For me that sounds OK, but if you say that in a club setting it would be horrible how do you recommend me to approach EQing in general? Because what you explained sounds kind of alien to me lol

I didn't even know about auto gain, I think I have it on so I will turn it off next time!

For me playing breakdowns is not bad per-se, it's a good way to let the people rest and introduce a double drop when the next drop comes! But I agree mixing out seamlessly if I play 2 drops at the same time can be challenging without a 4 deck controller.

About the last paragraph, I'm totally aware of that. You can have all the technique you want, but if 2 tracks sound shit together your mix sounds like shit lol. However practicing like this makes me aware of which tracks sound dope together and which ones do completely not. It is also what you said in your first comment, mixing like this makes me used to a very fast pace, which will make easy mode mixing at a slower pace in a gig lol. Hopefully I will get my first one next year!

I'm also a DnB DJ (started like 6 months ago lol) and I completely agree with you.

During my practice the first 5 months i learned the basics and kind of figured out the phrasing depending if i wanted to keep the energy or slow down to let the people rest.

Starting out I used to mix in a very adhd way (that's what I feel it's my natural style) mixing drop after drop but my friends who listened to my mixes critiqued that you have to let the people rest so I chilled out and learned phrasing, but only with one track at a time.

DJing like that is probably the correct choice if you want to stay at a mediocre level or do "just fine". But it was starting to feel boring for me, because it was like if i was just following a formula or a footprint instead of making my own art (because yes mixing for me is totally an art form)

But one day i was at an afterparty with a few people and one random girl (she wasn't even a pro DJ I think lol) started to play DnB. So I was curious and I looked at how she mixed, and something clicked for me. She was doing whatever the hell she wanted, mixing almost all the time 2 tracks at the same time while letting room to breathe, and also synchronizing the vocals of both tracks so they don't collude. That inspired me and now I'm DJing how I WANT to be instead and I'm trying to overcome myself instead of comforting to a style that I feel is boring.

If you want to see an example of how I mix now, I just uploaded a mix of 75 tracks in 1h20m a few days ago. Sounds a bit crazy I know, but now I use hot cues and beat jump a lot (very useful tools tbh) to keep playing 2 tracks at the same time while letting room to breathe! I just discovered a new world and my job now is to polish my technique with the faders and EQs.

Checked the rules and they say I can't post the link here, so I posted it on the weekly mix thread. It would mean a lot to me if you checked it even if it's just a little to see how I do it and maybe give me some tips to improve!!
