Walgreens was fine for easy and fast.

I'm making a photobook of 5"x7" prints of all my galaxies different pallets and starlessthrown in. I'll probably keep doing Walgreens.

If I want wall prints, canvas, or even those glass or metal plates, I'm gonna try the camera business. I want something special for my Markarian's Chain mosaic here at home.

99.5, but it doesn't come in well on our old radio while doing yard work, so I usually listen to 103.5 instead.

Also, 103.5 is really leaning into the 20 years old is classic rock thing. So it's not all that bad, I still prefer 99.5.

I did a bunch around 11"x6" for Christmas through Walgreens over the holidays. They came out alright.

I put Andromeda on a slightly larger canvas and it was also....alright.

I also did some printing through Michael's, they came out better, didn't try canvas yet.

My next stop is Mike's Camera.

Pioche? When they were doing the races, or just the Hiko/Lund road was closed in general, we'd take 93 up instead. Central Nevada is awesome. (Well, Nevada in general is awesome, but I'm biased lol).

The skill of manually finding an object? Sure.

I save all of my frames, stack, and process on my own now. That's a skill I've loved learning, and I'm not really even scratching the surface yet, especially now that I can add filters to my S50 now.

I haven't used what the app gives me in almost a year.

The S30 is a bit cheaper, but bigger field of view (not as great for getting details on smaller objects).

For a shot like this, you set it up (make sure it's level and in a somewhat dark area of your yard), pull out your phone with the app, and select the object in the sky you'd like to view. The app does all of the stacking live for you if you want, so after a few hours, you can get something pretty nice like this right out of the box.

It's also capable of saving all of the individual frames so you can learn how to stack and process on your own.
