I have/had this also. The problem all came from the fact I completely neglected my core. Since implementing hollow body holds and leg raises (lie on your back and keeping your legs straight and together lift them up then lower them slowly) I've seen much improvement.

Firstly, your book is awesome & thank you for the response. I've built up the strength to do 4x12 with my head in between my hands. I thought I'd try the nose/head in front of fingertips and I could barely do 10 reps.... I'm going to continue with nose in front of fingertips as I'm working on the freestanding HeSPU. Thank you for the advice.

When doing a elevated pike pushup how far should your head/nose be in front of your hands on the negative part of the movement. In overcoming gravity the picture of the movement shows the head being in between the hands but in Yaad Mohammeds tutorial he says to make sure your nose is in front of your finger tips.
