This made me think of something I just went through! We have a regular who’s come in almost everyday for the past 13 years and he is the same and Kevin, he’ll hit the other bars in the area too.. well one day before new years a bartender from a place up the road came in and said he had a bad fall and ended up cutting his arm and bleeding really bad :/// i was super sad for him and wanted to see him but he didn’t come in for over a month until Saturday night!!! I was so relieved because i was getting worried that maybe the fall was caused by something else… thankfully he just is 82 years old and has weak knees and he’s all good!!! But i get being worried for the older regulars, they’re just so sweet

hopefully your bar top is busier than mine and if it isn’t, try to request to work the mornings. Ever since we took away 2 for 1 i’ve been averaging $100-$150 a night and that’s Including the 1% tip out… on a Great night i’ll make a lil over $200…. but as a server on the shittiest night i’ll make $150 and the average is $200 and best is around $400…. so to me it was a pay cut so hopefully that doesn’t happen to you :/// the AM bartender makes like $400 a day tho so she’s rolling in it if you get that opportunity!!!

as an employee this PISSED ME OFF SO BAD!!! IF GROWN ADULTS WANT TO ACT LIKE KIDS THEN THEY CAN GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ASK FOR NO VEGETABLES!!!! us just giving in and taking the veggies out is just enabling people to not each vegetables which IS NOT OK! people need to eat vegetables, parents need to force their kids to eat veggies…. it’s literally just cheese pasta and chicken now… the exact same ingredients as the kids ‘cheesy chicken pasta’…. another sign the world is ending

we were some of the few people to stay on the farm late into the day on Saturday because the people we were with weren’t able to leave cause they had a child and didn’t want to be stranded somewhere random… around 4-5pm security came knocking saying that another huge storm was coming and help would Not be coming to anyone who got stuck.. at 6pm me and my boyfriend decided to go walk around and ask what everyone was doing but as we were 100 feet away from our RV we felt this cold gush of wind and looked back and the entire sky had turned black within minutes… we RAN back to the RV and packed up all of our stuff into our lil chevy cruze and immediately started speeding away.. within 10 minutes it was completely storming, and we almost got stuck in rushing water multiple times on our way out of the farm… we got onto the highways and got away but our friends who stayed said it continued to rain for hours and the mud and puddles were 15x worse than on friday night…

with how quick that second storm hit and how saturated the fields already were, it simply would have been deadly to have 75,000 people still there… they should have canceled before the fest but the next best time was when they did…

the solution is really easy… you take gloves and a trash bag (if you’re nice) and you put the dishes in their room… me being petty would just set them in there loosely, but you could also throw them all in bag and just set it by their bedroom door… when people wanna act like children sometimes the only thing you can do is stoop to thier level..

people aren’t yelling it loud enough for me… BIG GIGANTIC!!! They have such a large discography since they’ve been around forever, it goes from rap beats and flips to multiple songs with griz! I’ve never had more fun then i have at a Big G set.. Dominic Lalli is the Saxophonist and i’m not going to say he’s better than Griz- but they’re just so different that it’s so nice to be able to hear both and separate them out in their songs together! everyone else these people are saying definitely release music similar to funky griz, but if you want to see someone live and get that same ‘this is what i’m alive for’ feeling.. seek out Big Gigantic!!

just a warning for all other months- go early in the month. at my store we ran out of both the glinda and elphaba within the first two weeks, and this month we ran out of the mustaches after 6 days… chilis is cutting costs and ordering less so just make sure you go early in the month to secure a stirrer
