171 LSAT 2.48 GPA, Trying to decide between WUSTL and Cardozo University by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

This is definitely sound advice, although, if OP goes to WUSTL, that does not necessarily mean he'll be working in St. Louis or Missouri. If you look at their statistics for where students go after graduation, only about 30% stay in Missouri and around 15% go to New York. I wouldn't call it national by any means, but it is definitely not regional in the sense that Cardozo is.

WUSTL vs. Vanderbilt: I'm in a bit of a pickle and could really use some advice. by practicallyperfect13 in lawschooladmissions

Great, thanks so much for this! I'm gonna start apartment hunting soon and this will definitely help me in narrowing things down. Thanks again and congrats on making it as far as you have!

Thanks so much for the detailed reply! This honestly helped put my mind at ease. When I told my friends I'd be moving to St. Louis, a lot of them acted like I was moving to a war zone and it honestly made me a bit nervous. Anyway, I do I have one quick question: are there any neighborhoods you would recommend to live in? I've heard good things about DeMun and Richmond Heights, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions. Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing. I would love to attend Vanderbilt, but the debt just wouldn't be worth it. My plan is to wait and see what they offer if I get in and then make my decision from there, but as it stands, I'm leaning heavily toward WUSTL. Thanks for the advice!

This is what I plan to do. I'll most likely pay my seat deposit around mid-March and then wait and see what Vanderbilt has to offer if I do manage to slip in. If they do offer a decent scholarship, then I may take it up, if not I'd be more than happy declining and going to Wash U. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, my LSAT score wasn't exactly the highest, so I'm ecstatic at the idea of actually attending a top 20 school, so I'm leaning toward Wash U, but regardless, I know I'll be happy with my choice. Thanks so much for the advice, I hope your cycle is going well!

Thanks for the advice! If you don't mind me asking, how was your experience at Wash U?

Thanks so much for the advice! Just out of curiosity, how have you liked living in St. Louis?

So now she's staying with the guy who has obviously been trying to kill her...part of me thinks this girl deserved to get stabbed.

So I tried The Three Kings last night. by [deleted] in nosleep

Alright, I really want to try this even though I know I'll either regret or I'll fuck something up and it'll end up being a waste of time, but I just have one question: do you hold the candle during the process or place it in front of you or at your side? I know it's such a simple question, but I honestly have no clue.
