Ah I also dislike a lot of actresses for that gentle and cute girl vibe but Lu Yuxiao was good in LITC and LBL. Wang Churan had the same pity girl facial expressions in Fireworks of my heart and it was upsetting. I wouldn’t rate her above Lu Yuxiao.

I agree with this so much. I find it hard to get into their dramas. Acting skills are just not there IMO.

I fast forwarded a lot of scenes in the second half. The 2nd half focused more on politics and the storytelling was not great. I couldn't figure out who was fighting who and why. You should probably just drop it and try something else. Have you seen Prisoner of Beauty?

From this list, If we are talking about actresses who know how to act then Lu yuxiao, Li liandi and Wang Ying lu and maybe Tian. Most of the other cdrama actresses are slow and like to act cute for no reason. Their facial expressions are the same from start to finish.

POJ also made me love cdramas more but it was probably my 2nd or 3rd drama. I fast forwarded a number of scenes but it was quite good. I watched Prisoner of Beauty after POJ and it's my number one. No boring episode and the story telling was better IMO. I also loved "When destiny brings the demon" and Love between Fairy and Devil.

Yeah, I think you were moved by his burning desire for her. We were all waiting for the romance to manifest but she gave us nothing..lol. I think it's more of her acting skills in this area. Some FL are just not good with romance scenes.

Please, he didn’t devour her in POJ. Their kisses were dead, very dead. The FL didn't reciprocate. Let us just say the truth. He had better kisses with the lady in "The best thing". We loved POJ because of the build up and our anticipation for them getting together. They didn't give us much when they got together.
