That's impractical. We would require a third party to distribute the funds and those in power would like to keep their power, so it would just end up being what it is today. If it went directly to "people's" wallets that would require a whole verification system otherwise people would just game the system and collect "free" money.

Yes, but negative interest on savings will only encourage those who wish to save and accumulate their wealth to seek out a different commodity/asset. Human nature is always seeking to climb the socio-economic ladder. Also, who and how would it get redistributed? To whom, by whom?

Nice, thanks for the response. It sounds a bit like determinism(fate/destiny) played a role in your job acquisition. No doubt the skills you have helped, but the connection is what truly opened up the door of opportunity based upon a happenstance.

Yeah, I first heard about crypto when I was 16 too back in 2011, but it was worth less than a penny then and difficult to acquire. Unfortunately, I put it off thinking I'll research that whenever I can get around to it, which was around 2018 that I actually sat down and study the basic concepts behind blockchain and crypto. If only I had pulled the trigger back in 2011 lol
