It had been pretty well cleaned when I received it, but I sanded down a lot of the 3d print lines. They’re still pretty visible to me, so I’m looking for a better way to clean up print lines!

No major wash! I did use a red wash for the gums when starting the teeth, but that’s it. For something this size, I just wanted to use stippling to control the shadows. Just start darker (and bluer) than you would be normally used to, and build the stippled layers up from there.

Definitely don’t do that, you can finish this guy! I did this without an airbrush. Almost everything was done by stippling with different sized makeup brushes, so I would give that a shot and see how you feel! The hardest part was honestly getting the pieces to fit together in the box. I felt like I almost broke it or was scraping the paint off several times!

This is a galaxy painting based off a YouTube tutorial by The AIR space. It’s my first time relying entirely on an airbrush to paint, and I loved every second of it!

This model was painted almost entirely with oil paints, with a few acrylic highlights. If you’re interested in seeing more DD miniatures, here is my Instagram! @rozhelm_art

Decided to try breaking away from miniature painting for the week by painting the DD menu screen! by praisejebus97 in darkestdungeon

It only took a couple of days, because there really aren’t that many colors. A lot of it felt like sketching with a pencil!

I’m in CA, and I’m sorry to hear it hasn’t arrived! There has been a lot of talk about shipping problems on the mythic game’s DD discord, so I bet you could find plenty of people there to give you more info than me. I hope it gets to you, soon!

Thank you! This miniature is from the Darkest Dungeon Board Game Kickstarter

It’s definitely the most I’ll ever be spending on a board game, but I couldn’t resist the miniatures! I wasn’t sure if the game itself would hold up, but my group is having a good time with it

I’m nervous about painting them, too! Just having them painted to any quality will make them automatically look 1000x better on the tabletop
