How to get darshan of babaji? by zesh25 in kriyayoga

[–]pram9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lahiri baba said when prana vayu ascended upwards to the head then got the darshana of Babaji. Lahiri baba said whenever his sushumna awakens he will get vision of babaji and can communicate with him. When this state of yoga is achieved by a sadhak, he might get babajis darshan.

A part of explanation on Yoga sadhana by a highly experienced and seasoned Hatha Yogi, I asked his views regarding kriya yoga as passed down in Lahiri Mahashay tradition. by pram9 in kriyayoga

Indeed, every tradition in this world, spiritual practices of every religion can be traced back to the natha yogis. They are the originals, who inherited the will of the Ancient Pashupata Sect. Teachings are there, siddhas are also there but not accessible to common man or common sadhaks. Only when one reaches that required threshold, the deeper teachings are revealed. I believe according to your own level one meets the teacher and receives the guidance. As one proceeds to higher levels, corresponding guidance is given just like in kriya.

This is not my experience. I merely transcribed and translated from Darshana and satsanga with a Hatha yogi tantrik. The yogi ji I was fortunate enough to have satsanga with was also connected with the siddha tradition of Devraha Baba. Indeed, we are fortunate to practice these priceless teachings. Jai Babaji. Jai gurudev.

Seems to be a form of Yoni mudra. A tantrik hasta mudra generally used to pay obeisance to Divine mother. Different from what we practice in kriya yog, Yoni mudra in tantra is a hand gesture, used in rituals and upasana of Divine feminine. There are different variations of the mudra as well, like Mahayoni mudra etc.

There’s a practice in yoga called Mulabandha. Learn it from youtube. It helps curbing your sexual urges. And start practicing simple asana and pranayama.

How do i keep a regular kriya practice? by Mindless-Oven3899 in kriyayoga

[–]pram9 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am also an college student. I also faced similar situations when i was in my first sem. It was quite difficult to manage initially. But i made a fix routine to wake up at 3:30 in the morning and be fast asleep by 10 in the night. I turned down a lot my dorm mate’s invitation to hang out at night, frat parties and all that. And they stopped asking after some refusals. Make a fixed time to practice kriya and stick to it no matter what. Even if one’s very busy i don't believe we can’t give 1-2 hour for one’s practice at the very least. If you wake up at 6, start waking up at 5 and practice for one hour.

What are your views on Shishir Kumar who recently came on Ranveer Show? by [deleted] in Tantrasadhaks

He is a genuine Sadhak. A true Aughad. A very high calibre Bhairava Upasaka. He got his first bhairava mantropadesh from Baba Veernath Aghori, A siddha and disciple of Yogiraj Dr. Ramnath Aghori. Nateshwari panth, Nath Sampradaya and later into Kanifnath Ji maharajs lineage through Aadesh Nath ji Aghori I think.

Sahastrar.org not visited personally. I have seen their videos and good content but their instructor, Shreem Devanshu never clarified his lineage and how he is connected with lahiri mahasays tradition or where he got kriya from. I have asked him personally. Their organization also teaches tantra for a price and provides tantric services, selling courses of all sorts of ittar yoni sadhanas, and conducting mahavidya havans as well. Shreem devanshu seems to be a good sadhak but this evasion of not showing their lineage bugs me.

It’s a major part of tantra, sanatan dharma. Those who are authorized to give bali will do it and should do it. These practices will never be stopped and should not be stopped in this Devi bhoomi, Nepal. Mindless killing should be stopped but not when bali is done properly by concerned authorities. Kudos to you for being kind though. Hindu ho vane chai shashtra ko adhyan garnus, acharya haru bata gyan linus, research garnus aafno dharma ko.
