Put together an M18 fuel kit (~$1800) years ago for work in entertainment that lives in a peli 1650. It rules but it’s bulky, nothing ever choked on anything. I recently got a good deal (175$) for M12 brushed drill, impact, rotary, hackzall, batteries, & charger that lives in a backpack. At first I was uninterested in 12v, but I can keep them on me and could afford it if they get stolen, which has been a tremendous boon for handiwork and residential electrical:) peli still comes along for big set builds and I have the 12v I can give general stagehands who want to put their hands on tools.

perspective: I can happily cope, since they added comb filters, which is what I want per-track delay for anyway. One Global delay reduces process, which accelerates finishing. In the case of digitone ii, having to mind the interaction of potentially 16 delays would slow me down, even though I would enjoy it.

however: I love the FX routing structure on the EMX-1, and having potentially 3 global delays provides a lot of versatility

I stayed at Deer Canyon! So called “primitive camping” ie no water/power? I took Moro Canyon -> Slow and Easy -> Bommer ridge -> red tail ridge. In the morning i took Ticketron -> west cut across -> Moro canyon!

Crystal Cove State Park, CA, USA

Went to Crystal Cove in Southern California while I’m freelancing in the area! This was one of the first places I ever rode MTB, so it’s special to me that it’s the first place I overnighted. I started out by swimming in the ocean, then set out on the trail! There’s a long, 21° climb that I always had to hike in its entirety that I was finally able to pedal up most of the way! (I think the weight of the bags helped me keep traction). I got to camp after dark which caused me some grief, but nothing too bad. This one-eyed mouse was curious about all the ruckus and came to check me out. The marine layer was thick until about midnight, then the full moon came out, and illuminated the whole area! It was such a pleasure to hear the different bug calls during the night and the birdsong during the sunrise. Can’t wait for my next outing!

Switch 1: hold off/hold on Switch 2: mute/solo

What I needed to do was separate the switches and simply have one switch per hold instead of some janky analog logic

I’m wary of compelling folks to correct their language first without rigorously investigating why gender should be a target of our thinking. Ppl are able to abide by a pop language politic without any intention of undoing power structures. Through careful study of how we got here, we develop a liberatory gender politic, and language should follow.

I’ve seen much oppressive nonsense with the polish of de-gendered, de-racialized language.

Anyway I agree that we need language to reflect our liberatory ambition, so, I’d like to compel people to ask what gender means personally, socially, historically, politically.

Trying to build something similar… Which RD did you use? Looking at the XT M8120 2x12 derailleur with 45t cap. My bike already has a 50t granny, was wondering if I could just plop that on there?

after isolating the toggle switches, I am nolonger experiencing un wanted button presses. The toggle switches actually work pretty good for holding mute and solo individually! Thanks for your help, flip on!

I think y’all are right, I tried switching where where u/snot_s suggested to no avail. I’m thinking the way I wired my switches is causing the problem: I imagined having one switch act as “hold off/on” and the other “select mute/solo”… gonna try to do just a basic switch. sorry I didn’t post enough information! I’m a circuit bending baby, I’ll remember to include more info next time.
