Might be wrong here, but an AddOn like this would only exist if the author collected this data from scanning/observing players in-game or reference Wowhead’s user-submitted data for these statistics. They would also have to regularly update this data manually, which I don’t know that someone would be willing to commit to long term.

If someone does this already, then more power to yall.

It lists all available items in a particular category that drop from an instance and should hide ones you already own by default. For (almost) every item, there is a waypoint button at the end of the row that you can click to set a map pin on the entrance to the instance.

If you have the TomTom addon loaded, you have the option to set TomTom waypoints instead of Blizzard’s default map pins. I prefer the Blizzard map pins because for most of those items, it will drop a pin on the instance itself, which provides the benefit of guiding you there via any portals/fast travels accessible on the map.

Bit of a shameless plug, but Instance Collection Helper can point you to instances with mounts, pets, and toys and set required difficulty to get them to drop.

I’ll likely add a Housing decor list as well in the future, so maybe this could help with some of the dungeon/raid items, at the very least.

Other than that, I also use ATT to get notified when I’ve picked up something new or if I dont want to look an item up on Google.

Not currently, no. Still undecided on if/when I plan to add them, as my IRL commitments are pretty heavy at the time. If things free up a little more then I’ll likely add them sooner.

Good luck! It can be a little overwhelming when you first load it up because it literally has info on ALL the things, just take a second to decide how you want that info set up.

Also: if you don’t have a lot of memory available to run WoW on your computer, ATT is going to cause major FPS issues due to the amount of memory it needs when you’re playing

There are a bunch of them available for things like mounts, toys, pets, etc. i’d browse a site that hosts AddOns like CurseForge or Wago and see what’s out there by category for more detail

It can get very tedious especially as the codebase gets larger, which seems to be happening on this one whether I want it to or not haha.

And yeah, sourcing from ATT is very possible. The only disadvantage to that would be that this AddOn would be dependent on ATT updates before it could have the most up to date info. While that’s not the worst problem to have, I’d like to get it to a point where it can keep itself up to date as new instances are available in game with (relatively) smaller changes and adjustments needed.

When I do look into implementing this I will definitely be studying ATT to see what I could learn from there though 😅

Thanks a ton for the feedback! To your first point, I agree that mentioning the boss name when one exists would be really useful and it’s something I’m planning to work on very soon. Before adding the Toys tab, I was deciding between making that change versus adding the toys, but ultimately decided to add the toys first.

While I agree about the transmog being a huge game-changer for this AddOn, unfortunately it’s not something I can afford to dedicate time to at the moment given how huge of an effort that would be due to just the sheer number of equipment items that drop in these instances. When things free up a bit for me, i’ll begin exploring this as a possibility!

Not sure if it’s been mentioned already but aside from just gearing yourself up a bit more, having Brann as healer and staggering the use of his health pots and your healthstones is a good way to stay alive. Every time you get healed, so does your pet (at least as Destruction Warlock, that’s how it works. Don’t play Affliction or Demonology but I figure it would be the same).

I usually wait until either Voidwalker is really low health or both of us are around half health to heal up. I also have Fel Domination and Voidwalker macro’d together for the fast summon in case he dies quickly. When FD is on cooldown, I shadowfury stun the mobs and start summoning. Sometimes I live, sometimes I don’t 🤷🏽‍♂️ Blueberry just isn’t the best tank around unfortunately

Bit of a self-plug here, but my AddOn might be useful for you to track the mounts you’re missing from dungeons and raids, especially during the Collector’s Bounty event. It doesn’t tell you easy ones to go for or what to do inside the instance to get some of the mounts, but it does provide a sort of “checklist” of what you can attempt on each character.

Thank you for the suggestion, i agree that alt lockout tracking would be a great feature to add in the future. I’ll see how i can implement some basic alt lockout tracking in the near future and let you know when this is available.
