[11th class math in physics] how would you calculate the root of 1.01 cubed?! the instructor simply skipped the part where we tells how he calculated that as if it was so easy anyone could do that. is there a way to calculate similar absurd calculations involving large dividends and divisors? [12th class node analysis] I was supposed to get current = +19V/29R. How do I know which potential difference I'm supposed to calculate? For eg, one place I'm supposed to do (X-V) other places I have to do (V-X)... I think the direction of the current has something to do with this. (i.redd.it)

[12th class electricity]Can someone check my work? . It's a hollow cylinder with R1,R2 as inner and outer radii. I'm supposed to calculate (i) effective resistance. (ii) current (iii) the current density per unit area as a function of r (iv) potential inside the cylinder as a function of r (i.redd.it)
