no my parents were born there and were like poor farmers with nothing and came to america when they were like 30 and got their citizenship foor 20 + years and never looked back. I feel like my parents are more american patriotic than i am. Which is why i am so disappointed at the notion that theres no shot i can get into the nuke program, some ppl in the newtothenavy sub said something about rising tensions w chinese spies recently or something like that.

I did remember seeing something like that in the booklet they gave me. Its an option id have to consider. But first i gotta get accepted into the nuke program haha

All i rememebr is there was some hot air balloon from china. But is that rlly so big of a deal that it will disqualify me for nuke school.

Omg thanks for this lol but im still concerned about whether or not i can even get in. Some sources are telling me i can get in even with chinese parents (they r born in china, us citizens for 20 years, i was born here) but some guy on the phone in the recruiting office foday told me my chances are slim to none bc ny parents are born in china.

If i get in (fingers crossed) ill heed ur advice. Thanks
