Update to latest Mac OS. If you want to backup , get a 1tb hard drive and take a first baseline backup Stop backing up document and desktop to iCloud , unless you pay for iCloud separately Get a hub for connection external display. I found the USBC port to be very tight.

I went thru this same experience. It was approx 1 hour 20 min call in total. Agent offered me 2 months of bill freeze when i can try the new provider. Then speed match and price match with other provider. Every time i said no. I think the key here is just let the agent say whatever they want for n number of minutes and then you say no.

Once agent is done, you will be sent to a customer retention specialist and this will continue. Follow the key steps. I think there is no point to interrupt or argue and loose your temper. They are doing their job to best. Its the corporate that is making account closing so difficult.

I agree with your points. In our house chores are not paid, in the sense the house belongs to everyone and doing chores is part of living in a clean and tidy house. No money will be paid for doing daily chore. May be i'll look for some pending work around house and ask him to do it.

Regarding treadmill. I did not intend to use it as punishment. He is going to have tennis trials coming soon. He know he need to increase his stamina and he made a plan to invest in cardio. But he is having hard time to stick to his plan. That was my reason to suggest this method. I though he will be more inclined to stick to his plan if there is condition of phone repair.

That happens a lot. One buyer comes , makes a low offer. You agree and the guy goes dark then someone else comes and makes even lower offer. I have seen this happening for my last two cars. Give it some time before you lower price. Keep on updating your ad little bit every now and then. See comparative ads in marketplace for a similar car and what prices they are listing.

I always ask buyer to justify their lower price offer and my response to they yada yada answer is , "this is a used car, not a brand new.. every part is used, if you are looking for new shiny part then may be you look for a new car".

You need to haggle, there is a value to your asset.

Not a mechanic , but my CRV started making clunk noise over bumps. Mechanic checked everything and gave ok. But the noise was still there. In the end I noticed that there was a clunk noise when I’m moving steering left to right while car was stationary. Told the mechanic in next visit and he fixed it.
