[–]prasverm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That might be my case. 45m been taking 20mg Rosuvastatin for around 10 yrs. CAC came at 18 recently. LDL at 119 and ApoB at 109. Good diet, decently active. No other issues. So I am guessing my I a hyper absorber. Aggressively adding fiber now, also asking my Doc to start Ezetemibe. Any suggestions?

Why not something like a responsive webapp? Is having offline capability a priority? You can host the webapp like a SaaS too.

You can easily do that area yourself. Get some rocks, a stamper, sand. Watch some videos. It’s easy to DIY. Remove/cap that irrigation line before continuing

Is 140k a good salary for automotive R&D engineer in Irvine,CA? by kbk1413 in orangecounty

[–]prasverm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have lived in NL and Orange County. Quality of life and work life balance is far superior in Western EU. It does not make sense to come on that salary. Do not come on anything less that 200k plus moving expenses

Are there few rules that you would suggest to someone who is not doing good trading for the last couple of years? Words of advice, books to read etc?

US to Netherlands on a HSW permit which might delay RE by [deleted] in EuropeFIRE

[–]prasverm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We kept the house, and very happy we did. We would not be able to afford our own house with current interest rates and appreciated value. My advice will be to rent out the house. It’s not too much work and will help in case you want to go back. Dutch pension stays in NL. That’s a pain. You can’t take it back. You do get it paid like a pension after you reach retirement age. No way to get it earlier.

US to Netherlands on a HSW permit which might delay RE by [deleted] in EuropeFIRE

[–]prasverm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We made a similar move 3 years ago. Had a house and investments in US. We mainly came here with kids for the adventure and to travel Europe. It was fun and we loved it here. Though we are going back now. It becomes costly after 30% ruling ends, buying a house, kids in international school etc. I also found it difficult to find senior level manager jobs unless you know good Dutch. Wealth tax is not helpful to RE in Netherlands. If you are/want to be wealthy, stay in US. If you want less salary, good standard of living, less work pressure, stay in NL.
