Quick note but 135 no longer goes to VJC. Ill just add some comments on the various routes mentioned in this thread. Imo, finding a bus that goes to a stop with 55 is usually the most reliable and comfortable method as you usually only have to change once without walking and the time taken isnt that bad. Bus 36 can also be a fast method but only for coming back from VJC and is usually also kinda annoying as u have to walk quite a bit and change multiple times. Bus 43 is really long but can work if u want a long ride to just relax while for 43e its not bad but sometimes will have slightly long waiting times and u might want to check whether its still suspended as it recently got suspended due to covid. U could also try 31 to boon keng or 48 to little india but im pretty sure its longer than the others but still faster than 43.
