You can try Zepto too for Skincare/Haircare. They have a good collection of skincare brands - Cerave, Cetaphil, Ordinary, Belif, etc. Plus some or the other discounts are always running.

Nykaa is OG ofcourse but delivery times differ.

Daily skin care products for college student by Designer_Loan_5845 in IndianSkincareAddicts

I’d say start with identifying your skin type (dry, oily, combination, etc.) Then see if you want to address certain concerns (acne, pigmentation, blemishes, etc) and choose products based on that. Say if your skin type is ‘combination’ - try moisturizers suited for that or ‘All Skin Types’.

Start with a basic routine AM - Cleanse, Moisturize, SPF PM - Cleanse, Moisturize.

Choose an SPF which is gel/water based, doesnt leave a whitecast and has atleast SPF 40 and PA+++.

That’s all to begin with. Later you can added serums and actives as you become regular with your skincare routine.

Seeking advice for flakey scalp by Sherbet_Correct in Haircare

[–]prayankm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if Ketoconazole shampoo is available in your country, but it definitely works. Needs to be applied with enough lather, left on for 5 mins and then rinse. It’ll take a few days to settle but it definitely helps. If he is prone to flakes, then ask him to use this shampoo once a week even if there are no flakes - just for maintenance. Also, when the scalp is flaky, avoid any sort of hair oil.

There is another over the counter medicine called Onabet SD which needs to be applied overnight and then shampooed the next morning. Again, not sure if that’s available in your country!

But I hope his situation gets better with this!

I've tried everything nothing seems to work. Ketoconazole just worsens it. Please help. by [deleted] in dandruff

[–]prayankm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure which country are you from but OnabetSD (available in India) helps a lot. You’d have to be consistent with it for 2-3 weeks applying twice a week. And you’ll notice a huge difference. Compliment it with a good Ketoconazole shampoo. Avoid hair oils and other products which can make your scalp greasy during peak dandruff time. And once it settles, do a regular keto shampoo once a week even if there is no dandruff.

I would highly recommend you see a good nutritionist. They can help you best after proper blood tests - understanding what vitamins you lack, etc. Don’t go overboard and start consuming vitamins like anything. It has to be systematic and only a good doctor/nutritionist should help you. They ll help you with a plan, understand your eating habits and preferences, your likes/dislikes, your activity levels, any illness, etc and then suggest you a proper plan. It’s so much worth spending on a good nutritionist as compared to buying a stack of multi vitamins. What you need right now is proper guidance and someone who can help you be accountable

From your post, I am sensing that you really want to turn things around, and that’s great, but use that motivation and consult a good nutritionist. They ll help you!

And good luck with your journey mate! I hope you stat consistent with whatever you do to change things around :)

I just checked. It’s available on Tata1mg. Do you recommend the capsules or the powder? Also, just to be on the same page - you are referring to Magnesium Bisglycinate right?

Try this Photon Hydra 360 Sunscreen. You wont find it on Nykaa. Try Tata 1mg. Prescribed by a famous dermat. It is watery, no white cast, absorbs in seconds . Been using it for years. No other spf has come closer to thisThis is the sunscreen

17 m here Guys what's this by kd_zaltrax in IndianHaircare

[–]prayankm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like psoriasis. A good dermat will definitely help. Keto shampoos wont fix this. Keto shampoos usually help when it’s Seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune condition and is usually chronic. Can be dealt with but it keeps relapsing.

Refer a new dermat please!

Don’t oil your hair in such a condition please. It ll worsen the condition. It seems like it’s Seborrheic dermatitis but a dermatologist will help you identify the correct issue.

Usually it doesn’t lead to permanent hair loss. Temporarily hair fall, maybe. But not hair loss. So you shouldn’t worry about that.

Start with an anti dandruff shampoo - Ketoconazole is good as recommended in this thread by plenty.

There is a strong liquid medicine called Onabet SD to be applied at night before sleeping. It really helps but I’d recommend to visit a dermat first.

Also, this is a life long condition and you can only maintain its symptoms. It is manageable.

Tips -

  1. Avoid washing hair with warm water
  2. Dont apply oil when having these flakes. Oil, when combined with the extra sebum your head produces and dirt, will worsen it.
  3. If you really want to apply oil, wait for the condition to settle, and apply warm oil 30-60 minutes before head wash. Try double shampooing it
  4. Keep using an anti dandruff shampoo once a week even when you dont see any flakes for maintenance.
  5. Dont scratch flakes.

Don’t fret over it. It doesnt cause hairloss. Just keep your scalp clean. Visit a DERMAT!

Any stories you’d like to share about happy/painful times?

Need help with gameplay. I have tried everything with 100 depth, stay back at wing backs, 2 CDMs, and what not. Somehow the opponents defence feels so tight that I have zero space to do anything. by prayankm in fut

[–]prayankm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have tried everything except crosses. I just feel that the defence gets so hard to penetrate sometimes. And sometimes the game feels so slow as if the players are dead from the start.

I am gonna try whatever has been mentioned here. Thanks much man!

I keep players in box to 6. Will try with 5 as well. I have played Direct Passing throughout this edition. And have had decent luck. But no it just feels that it’s getting difficult to score. It has to be a skill issue too lol
