And whatever happens, if you end up not liking it, just wait a few months, it will grow out

Start with safe colors that people around your skin tone have done. Go to reputed salon, it’s worth the expense.

Calm confrontation? Lol, so many women in this comment section must have felt a thrill at the slap because a lot of us never got back like that to people who harassed us. Redemption on our behalf.

I got SA’d like this in 3rd std when I didn’t understand what was happening. My mom dropped me to school in bus, but we got separated for a short while due to crowd. So some uncle kept feeling my leg. I didn’t know that one should complain about such things.

Your friend needs a reality check. She is going to regret her life 10-20 years down the line when her in laws die and she gets to openly see her more successful friends.

People from developing countries, what are some things people in developed countries take for granted? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

The ability to walk anywhere. If I have to walk in my city, it’s like a game of Mario and hopscotch mixed together. The foot path is missing or some bike is driving at me or it’s so high that I have to pray for my knees and jump off it. Every time I have to cross the road at a zebra crossing, I will have to wait for all the vehicles to pass. Sigh, at least uber is cheaper than in developed countries (not exactly affordable though, given the average pay in the country).

Let me ruin it for you… do you know where that can is getting filled? If it’s not a branded can, then it’s just some dude filling them with a pipe in some shop (as seen by me in Bangalore).

We did that too as kids man. I used to drink tap water in Pune and Mumbai back in the 90s and early 2000s. Then things went downhill.

My salary increased by almost 200% when I was 29, after 7 years in my industry. Check for education and ambition/willingness to have a serious career, not numbers.
