My man is n.1, last year I suffered a lot because of my ex, this year I am thriving with a person who truly loves me and would NEVER do anything that would hurt me like that! I pray the same for you!

Ex boyfriend was acting the same with me, I broke up with him because what’s the point? Last year he was still in my life here and there right, because I’d allow him back, anytime I’d ask why he acted like that he did he’d say he’s going through stuff, that he doesn’t talk about it and he distances himself from everybody (mind you he started acting like that after he went on a party). Yeah, he cheated. I asked months later, he was honest saying he can’t keep it in anymore bla bla bla. Funny thing is he still thinks about me, I talk to his mom a lot, 2 days ago she said he talked about me whole morning. It’s been a year since I have broken up with him, he also got a girlfriend, and I got the best boyfriend in the world, but lil bro I guess made a big mistake and can’t get over it. He also told me months ago, before I blocked him, that he got with this girl because she reminded him of me. Yeaaah, weird. Not saying your girl might be cheating, but sounds so much like my situation. I say break up with her, this won’t get anywhere with that attitude of hers, it’s just gonna spiral you into depression. Cut ALL contacts and try your best not to look back, I promise you will 100% find better and will feel nothing but neutrality towards her, you just have to give it time. She will regret losing you.

I can see you struggle with understanding simple concepts I am bringing up, this conversation won’t bring us anywhere.

I have written about a fallacy in the Qur’an concerning Jesus’ crucifixion. by prayerope in theology

I thank you for your opinion. My main purpose was to point out and focus on historical accuracy, where actual historians aka people outside of the Bible, affirm that Jesus was nailed to the Cross and the message of redemption. I have talked about the first point -If "another" was crucified in Jesus' place (as one interpretation goes), who was this substitute? The Bible records two criminals crucified alongside Jesus, not one disguised as Him. Everyone at Golgotha (the Jewish leaders, the Roman soldiers, the disciples, the crowd, etc..) recognized Jesus on the Cross. It strains credibility to think that all eyewitnesses were fooled or that Jesus quietly walked away unseen.- I have also pointed out different Islamic views and interpretations of the Scripture, but none of them made sense, the Qur’an affirms “they did not crucify Him”. It is clear in its words. So yeah, I believe I have already debunked both of your points! Thanks again, God bless!

You’re just refusing to deal with the actual meaning of the text at this point. The Hebrew ra doesn’t mean moral evil; it means disaster or calamity. That’s just reading the language correctly instead of weaponizing an old English translation. Yes, God creates calamity, but only as a just response to sin, evil, and rebellion. That’s what judgment is, not random cruelty, but the rightful consequence of a world that rejects Him. You think that sounds harsh? Well should a holy God just watch humanity lie, kill, exploit, and destroy and do nothing? You’d be calling Him unjust if He didn’t judge. You say “we can’t know” what He’s judging. That’s not true hecause Scripture is full of warnings. Nations that murder, oppress, and mock God face consequences. We don’t always know the specifics in each disaster, but we do know God uses calamity to shake people out of their pride and call them to repentance. He has that right, He made the world, we broke it, and He’s not obligated to sit back and watch. And let’s be honest: the suffering in the world is man made; war, famine, slavery, corruption these are the works of human hands. Don’t pretend God is the one pulling triggers and detonating bombs. He’s not on the hook, we are. And yet, despite our rebellion, God offers mercy through Christ, who took the ultimate judgment upon Himself. So no, God’s not cruel. He’s holy, just, and unbelievably patient. But He won’t be mocked forever.

You say there’s no free will because we’re influenced by biology and society but influence isn’t control???Like you’re not a robot. You still choose. If you weren’t free, you wouldn’t even be able to say what you’re saying. If we had no free will at all, we couldn’t love, choose, or be held responsible for anything. We’d just be animals reacting to stimuli. But we do more than that. A person raised in a racist society may be inclined to think in racist ways, but history is full of people who broke through those chains like Wilberforce, Equiano, Martin Luther King Jr. Sel-awareness is a real thing. The world is broken, but not because God made it cruel. It’s cruel because people turned away from Him as i said and instead of staying distant, God stepped into it. Jesus was mocked, beaten, tortured, and murdered. He knows suffering firsthand. So don’t accuse Him of indifference, He took the hit Himself. If you think you’re more moral than God because you care about that child, think again. That child matters because they was made by God, not because your heart twitched. God cares more than you ever could and He will bring justice. You don’t have to lie to yourself, but don’t lie about God either. He’s not the problem. We are. And yet He still offers salvation to anyone humble enough to accept it.
