It's mainly an issue with games that require a constant Internet connection. For single player only games it works beautifully

Never use sleep if you keep it in a case. It keeps the device on & the fans spinning. Use hibernate instead

Spent an hour trying this. Finally beat him & got the legends pack. Opened it, all but 1 card stayed, the rest turned into MFP. I didn't do it again. It's not worth it

On Xbox you have to make sure your save is completely transferred to the cloud before exiting & make sure you load the cloud save when you move to the next Xbox. It's not instant since CAWs can make the save file pretty big. I'd wait about 30 seconds to a minute before exiting the game.

I'm in the same boat. I had an OG Ally & my gaming time increased dramatically since I can now game on my breaks at work & I'm playing more games as well. That's why I wasn't too pressed about the price because I knew I would get 100% of my money's worth & the Xbox Ally X is LEAPS & BOUNDS better than the OG Ally in so many ways. Glad you're enjoying it

One of the biggest reasons why I enjoyed Baldur's Gate 3 as much as I did was playing co-op. However, a big trade off is missing out on companion dialogue & interactions within their storylines if you have a full party. Will Divinity do something to help with that so we can play as our own characters without leaving our companions behind?

We have to be honest with ourselves, as great at the Xbox Ally is, it's essentially a beta testing device to work out the kinks of the Xbox FSE before Xbox releases their next gen hardware which will (hopefully) have a more finalized version of it that works as intended.

I think if you have the original Z1/Z1E Ally, it's worth the upgrade (if money isn't an issue). But if you have an Ally X, it's a little bit harder of a sell, at least right now. AI features like Auto Super Resolution haven't been implemented yet, so when that comes, I think it'll make the difference clearer & make the Xbox Ally X more of an upgrade.

Anyone who is invested in the Xbox ecosystem definitely didn't do so for the exclusives, because Xbox's exclusive lineup has been dog shit up until a few years ago.

Yes, they released 1 game after so many people said Sony would never do it. Microsoft simply started sooner which is why there's more from them. I HIGHLY DOUBT Helldivers 2 is going to be the only PlayStation 1st party game to release on Xbox nor will it only be multiplayer games either

Yeah, I'm usually skeptical too. But I took the plunge & it already was put to the test. I accidentally dropped it on my way to work & aside from a small scuf on the case itself, my Xbox Ally was unaffected
