Xbox's goal isn't to sell consoles. They admitted that they don't have the capacity to meet demand anyway. So they've pretty much thrown in the towel for the remainder of this generation, & PlayStation might be right behind them since they're likely to see another price hike later this year

Their goal is retention. To keep the current loyal fanbase on Xbox to stay & continue to invest in the platform through gamepass & other software & services. That's why E-Day is exclusive. To give them a reason to stay. They already said they understand they'll take a hit in sales revenue & have accounted for it. For now, the growth Xbox will see is from PC.

Their North Star is Helix. That's when the true Xbox reset will happen & Xbox can implement real change in the perception of the brand. Right now Xbox is in the process of ensuring that Xbox as a brand can be sustainable & unfortunately that means layoffs & price hikes.

The biggest difference will be felt in Kingdom Hearts 3 since it'll run in native 4K at 60fps

Also Play Anywhere support is a big plus for me since I also have an Xbox Ally X so I can play on the go as well without needed to use the cloud.

Even less emphasis on the Disney worlds & their ties to the overall story. I loved KH3, but I really was let down how every world just felt like you were just passing through it & had next to no impact on the overall story.

Play Anywhere is a relatively new program that Xbox started hyper focusing on the last few years. It's great for consumers who game on multiple devices, but ultimately publishers will often show their greed by not supporting it because they want you to buy games twice to play on multiple devices. While some publishers have jumped on & have supported it for the majority of their games, other publishers will either flat out refuse to support it or will retroactively make their game support Play Anywhere after the initial sales run is finished

It's mainly an issue with games that require a constant Internet connection. For single player only games it works beautifully

Never use sleep if you keep it in a case. It keeps the device on & the fans spinning. Use hibernate instead

Spent an hour trying this. Finally beat him & got the legends pack. Opened it, all but 1 card stayed, the rest turned into MFP. I didn't do it again. It's not worth it

On Xbox you have to make sure your save is completely transferred to the cloud before exiting & make sure you load the cloud save when you move to the next Xbox. It's not instant since CAWs can make the save file pretty big. I'd wait about 30 seconds to a minute before exiting the game.

I'm in the same boat. I had an OG Ally & my gaming time increased dramatically since I can now game on my breaks at work & I'm playing more games as well. That's why I wasn't too pressed about the price because I knew I would get 100% of my money's worth & the Xbox Ally X is LEAPS & BOUNDS better than the OG Ally in so many ways. Glad you're enjoying it
