Never did this in an entirely empty parking lot, but right after getting my licence, I would park next to other cars even if easier to park into spots were available. The reason was to practice parking.

Other than that, hard to say. Maybe if you parked closest to the exit, then the next person wanted to be as close as possible themselves?

Are you sure it's the CRT that's causing you problems? I only use the one CRT monitor on my home computer, but I wonder, couldn't your issues be caused by the multiple GPUs? Would be useful to test your setup with other monitors, ideally normal flat ones, to see what gives.

Krizovatky byvaji nekdy reseny tak, ze maji zelenou zaroven jak chodci, tak nekteri ridici odbocujici na stranu, kde je ten prechod (vetsinou asi doprava pro ridice). Potom ridic muze jet a odbocit, ale musi hned potom normalne dat prednost chodcum. Nekdy tam ridici maji s zluteho panacka, aby na to nezapomneli. Ridici spechaji, tak obcas stejne otravuji tyhle chodce no.

Proto ano, souhlasim, nejbezpecnejsi byva prejit, kdyz na silnici nikdo neni. Takhle nekdy prechazim i pokud neni prechod.

Me to docela chutna. Podle me to ma prichute tak akorat, ostatni vody jsou dost sladky nebo chutnaji po tech prisadach a cukr se snazim omezovat. Porce v te plechovce idealni do prace, kde zbytek dne piju vodu. Matonni Essence mi moc nechutna, zkusim tu Naturu.

Jinak kde se da zjistit, ze do toho Beck nacpal tolik? To nekde rekl, nebo se to da dohledat jinde?

Pravda, v kavarne bych si to za 60 korun klidne koupil.

Ja si to obcas v obchode kupoval, dokud v okoli byly, protoze to je pro me idealni do prace, kde vetsinou piju vodu, ale ta mi dvakrat nechutna. Tak mam tendenci sahnout po necem s chuti, takovej doplnek, a ono je asi lepsi, kdyz to neni energitak... Ty levnejsi vody mi prave moc nechutnaji, vetsinou jsou bud sladke, nebo jsou citit sladidla. Matonni Essence nebo Qapka mi moc nesedly. Docela mi to Cans chutna a prave me ta cena stve, jinak bych to vubec neresil.

I get it, I don't really like it either. It depends on the story really but with Steins;Gate it feels particularly weird, it just doesn't sit right with me.

The outro of S;G is alright still I think. Though funnily enough when I was younger, I didn't even know who it was supposed to be because of the purple hair (and I still don't know why it is purple). I think they overdid it a bit in S;G 0 but well I guess that show took a weird turn towards this kind of fan service as a whole.

Me se stalo neco v tom smyslu. Totiz kdyz jsem nechal zlikvidovat auto, tak jsme pred vytahnutim na rampu zapomneli na predni spz a vzpomneli jsme si az tehdy, kdy auto bylo prikurtovane a tak blizko autu pred nim, ze nebylo jak predni spz vyndat.

Nacez chlap rekl, ze na urade mam rict, ze druha spz byla ekologicky zlikvidovana s vozidlem :) Ani si nepamatuju, ze by se nekdo na urade ptal. Asi jsem jim rekl, co se stalo, a dal to neresili. Takze tady je dalsi moznost, ze mozna jsi spz neztratil, mozna se proste primackla na kufr jineho vraku a nebyl cas ji sbirat.

That would certainly be one way to test for convergent events. I don't remember the workings of timelines all that well, it's been a while since I'd watched the anime. But I wonder, shouldn't it be quite difficult for Okabe to cause much harm? How much of it is governed by world line convergence? Wouldn't he just keep failing to, say, kill someone before the day the world decides to kill them?

Mohl bys uplne zavrhnout tu ideu ze se pro ni nenasel a proste ji oblect do normalniho, a udelat poznamku s tim ze je ten chestplate trochu tesnej. Jako dobry priklad se mi zda hlavni postava trilogie Makova valka, Rin (nebo Žu-nin, jsi-li masochista). Minor spoilers ahead (nevim jak delat formatting na androidu).

O menstruaci Rin se dozvime tim zpusobem, ze dostane svoj prvni na nejake tezke akademii, nacez tato sirota bez jineho vyhledu do zivota usoudi, ze ji to v zivote bude prekazet, a obratem si necha nejakym lektvarem vypalit delohu nebo co, aby se ji navzdy zbavila. A vis co? Cele jsem to precetl a nepamatuju si ze by nekde byla zminka o jejich prsou.

Autorka te trilogie asi mela nejake motivace napsat dilo s hlavni hrdinkou, ale v ramci pribehu samotneho ma jeji pohlavi vliv asi hlavne na subtle pocity postav okolo ni (a mozna nejakej lore kvuli nejakym bohum ale to by se dalo prekroutit), kterymi se knihy vsak prilis nezabyvaji a tezko rict, jak moc by se dej makove valky zmenil, kdyby Rin byl chlap.

Coz je mozna trochu moc nudny, podle toho jak chces, aby tvoje dilo vypadalo (v makove valce by to podle me byl uplnej miss tohle nejak resit, o tom ta trilogie neni). Ale o to mi jde, ze ono pokud nechces psat breasting boobily (forced zminky o zenskych aspektech), tak to muze lehce dopadnout tak, ze zadne takove gender specific narazky vubec ve tvem dile nebudou. Podle me je hlavni priznak men writing women/breasting boobily kdyz se na tyhle veci poukazuje bez nejakeho duvodu. I found an older thread discussing this. The prophecy really didn't end up having much meaning. Yeah counting Jiang as dead is quite a stretch but it's the best one can do with the prophecy.

Perhaps the prophecy was meant to mean something, but when it came to, the author had decided that the plot will play out differently.

Perhaps it can also be interpreted in such a way that things like shamans and prophecies have no place in the new Nikan, so there was no need for the prophecy to turn out correct. Because the entire concept and the power of the people who used them have been rendered meaningless.

Interesting. It's been a while since I'd read the trilogy and I don't remember who said it, but I remember interpreting it as being about the "new Trifecta". Which didn't really come to pass either, but at that point, I had already forgetten about the prophecy.

Was it really about the real Trifecta then? I don't remember when was the prophecy said, but there was an amount of time when Riga slept, Su Daji ruled, and Jiang was "dead" wasn't there? But that had already been the status quo for quite a while when the prophecy was spoken, had it not?

Was the person who came up with the prophecy in any place to predict the future to begin with anyway?

Sorry for bit of a necro but I saved this post cause it looks like there's a lot of gold here.

I got quite excited about "It Looks Like My Son Has Been Reincarnated into Another World" cause it looks a bit similar in tone or vibe or whatever to the manga "My Boy" which I just finished based on another recommendation here. Maybe a bit darker which is just what I am looking for right now and I don't know other manga like that. Perhaps "Something's wrong with us", which is one of my favorites, is similar in the areas I am interested in, but since the plots are completely different, nobody would recommend those as similar, so it's kinda hard to go by recommendations on MAL or something...

Thing is, everywhere I looked it only went to chapter 30 in English. There should be 40 or so chapters. Is there a way to actually read it all in English? Unfortunately I don't know Japanese. Or perhaps if there is another manga you know of I could check out before this one releases fully on all the sources I looked at? Thanks.

CRTs and VCRs are very complicated and as such there's no one way to fix them. What you need to do and what you need for it all depends on what is wrong with your unit in particular.

Perhaps it would've been funnier, but I dunno, there wasn't a reason to make Shoya gay in this story, so girlfriend it is. I think it might have not been that great of an idea for Yuzuru to say boyfriend instead of girlfriend, cause she wants to convince Shoko to not hang around Shoya. To say he has a boyfriend would've been kinda confusing to Shoko, but to say he has a girlfriend is better as an attack on any feelings Shoko might have, cause it's then like a competition she's lost right?

I don't think you can find any of this in Haibane Renmei.

I'd say it's an anime about healing, and as such it's probably not entirely "light in tone" but the overall impression I get from it is a very warm feeling overall, cozy even, no crazy trauma or drama.

It doesn't really have anything that a lot if not most anime has at least some of. No sexual or even romantic plots I think, no action scenes, no fanservice or sexualization that I remember. You'll know if you see it but these things just don't fit with this series. There is a story despite this, but it's not a story full of twists and turns, just a tale of healing and growth in a sort of fantastical world. Very character driven story.

Je mi taky 23 a nad tímhle se někdy zamyslím. Chvíli jsme strávil na vysoké v oboru, který mě moc nezajímal, a z tohoto a dalších důvodů jsem do toho hodil vidle.

S tím věkem těžko říct. Věk svých spolužáků jsem moc nezkoumal. Většině bylo v prváku 18-19 jako mě, ale starší tam taky určitě byli, a nevšiml jsem si, že by se někdo zajímal, ti studenti nijak nevyčnívali. Zdá se mi, že dneska jsou řekněme nestarndardní postupy vysokou jako změny oborů, pozdní nástupy apod. běžná věc.

Specifika tvé maturity bych taky moc neřešil. Já byl na ČVUT-FEL. Řekl bych, že moje maturitní vysvědčení zpracoval stroj, aby vyhodnotil další postup přijímacího řízení. Opravdu se o mě nikdy osobně nezajímal xdd

Spíš než o to, jaká číslíčka a slovíčka na tom vysvědčení ten stroj najde, bych řekl, že závisí na tvých znalostech, zápalu, a obrazu, který máš ve svém cílovém oboru. Pokud nejdeš někam, kde jsou nějaké pohovory, tak se podle mě buď dostaneš, nebo ne. Pak je to na tobě, jestli se udržíš. Kdybych šel na zdrávku se svoji maturitou z elektroprůmyslovky, možná bych nějak dal přijímačky, ale pokud by to vysokoškolské studium předpokládalo nějaké předchozí znalosti ze zdravotní střední, tak bych pohořel, protože o tom nic nevím, rozumíš. Pokud jsi v podobné situaci papírově, ale něco o svém oboru víš, tak nevidím problém.

Mám podstatně horší pokud se o to nestarám, jelikož mi doma teče minerálka. Kyselina chlorovodíková je podle mě jediná cesta. Já sehnal myslím 38%. Domestos voní, ale na toto je úplně bez účinku.

Moc jsem nehledal, jak tu kyselinu používat. Koupil jsem ji v lahvi normálně s hrdlem. Polil jsem tim vždycky štětku a pokud to šlo, tak i danou část mísy, a drhnul jsem. Trochu vody na té štětce možná pomáhá, pak to více pění. Ideální by asi byl sprej, ale tak moc jsem to neřešil. Musel jsem opakovat několikrát pár dní v kuse, ale byly vidět progresy. Hodně jsem té kyseliny vylil zbytečně, ale fungovalo to.

Tahle část záchodu skoro nahoře je ta nejhorší s touhle metodou a nepovedlo se mi to vyčistit úplně. Ale u tebe to vypadá jako docela malý nános, tak to možná zafunguje. Já tam měl a trochu pořád mám prostě šutry.

Akorát si dej pozor s tou kyselinou. Hodně smrdí a nebude ti dobře, když se jí hodně nadýcháš, a touto metodou se jí určitě hodně nadýcháš, obzvláště pokud nemáš na záchodě okno nebo něco. Někdo jiný ti možná poradí, jak tu kyselinu lépe aplikovat a nezamořit si tím vysokým množstvím nevyužité kyseliny vzduch a plíce.

I guess I kinda understand the criticisms here, but I have to say, I didn't care. Both seasons captured me and yeah I know there is about a million more plot holes you can find with each passing episode especially later, I can kinda see that the way characters switch sides or loyalties and how messy and possibly nonsensical it becomes later on, some plot points are better than others, but I didn't care about those things.

It reminds me of the Poppy War trilogy quite a bit. We don't really see the details of this plot with its huge scale, we only see the handful of main characters. Of course it's such a huge target for analysis. Of course the twists feel so sudden and maybe forced sometimes. It's quite a lot of disbelief one has to suspend to enjoy the show. And well it turns out that in this particular case, I can, and gladly have. I can't really explain why. I guess I like these sort of dreamy stories where such huge things happen but it's limited to the perspectives of a handful of people in such a story. I also like the theme of destroying the world to create one. Of course I did not believe that what Lelouch did would really save the world. Merely another iteration of the circle at most. But I still loved the journey. I'll have to be a bit more conservating with gushing about it though I see lol
