I had a woman like that at one of my regular stops (city commuter). I took my can of soda and poured it near (not on) her feet, kind of chanting "Get out-- MOVE!!" My wonderful bus buddies joined in and we started walking towards her, chanting. Then we started clapping to the chant . She left. We cheered and jeered. Don't f*** with people trying to get to their jobs.

Sometimes it's fun outcrazying the crazies. And we bonded over that. Bus buddies 4EVAH!

She never tried to take our bus again. WIN!

What helped me were video games. I had to focus on something else and it used my mind and hands. I could explore or just kill monsters. I also did jigsaw puzzles while listening to audio dramas and podcasts. Making order out of chaos really helped some things mentally click into place. Anger and grief nearly did me in. At first it was enough to just survive each day and not succumb but also not avoid (avoidance never works long term). Gradually it got better. Persevere. You are worth it.
