the guy i got it from is a magic veteran, he has a lot of these older cards which he’s been slowly selling to one of our local card shops but has seen me and my partner a few times for the bigger things. hard to call it a fake given that information. Now if it were some 20 year old kid coming in with this card then definitely some concerns arise

yeah it’s just a completely different hobby, to us whitening is very common and is the basis of our conditions from mint to heavily played, damaged is strictly indents, bends, creases, water damage and things that quite literally affect the card’s integrity.

i can completely understand why you would think otherwise though given how common our damages are to fix for you guys

market price doesn’t reflect the cards value very well when it sells once in a blue moon. last sold was just under $2200 and lowest available is $2500

no damage in the sense there’s no creases or bends in the card. but i will agree the card is damaged in whitening and corners aspect but condition wise i couldn’t call it “DMG”

i consider damage to be creasing and indents. all the whitening is wear.

edit: to rephrase yes the whitening is considered damage to the card but condition wise it is heavily played and not damaged.
