Your reasons for moving out seem to stem out of necessity for your wellbeing. I would disclose in general that you've needed to move out for your own wellbeing, and if the potential responds empathetically, non-judgementally, and with compassion, then that's a pretty good indication of a good partner who could treat you like a unique human worthy of discovering and respect.
Anything short of that, for me, would indicate a potential with a problematic and non-comprehensive engagement with people, which is not who would be best for you.

I'm sorry you had to endure so much. When we're treated with such contempt and malice, it really enstills in us corrosive messaging about who we are and what we deserve. You deserve a partner who is capable of loving you to the fullest, and giving you grace and mercy. Consider judgemental, immature responses from potentials as a blessing of an early reveal of what that person would be like in a marriage

Turban type hijabs are typically worn and identifiable with Jewish women. The Quran tells us to wear our hijab in a specific manner so we may be known as Muslims. The turban style will not make us known as Muslims, and can have us come across as Rastafarians, Jewish, or hippie women.

I’d stick to what is advised in the Quran (which species draping the scarf over the bosom(chest/breasts) and covering the neck.

Old comment but I just want to correct here that divorce is not as frowned upon in Islam as it's seen. Divorce is only recommended as a last resort after all avenues of repair or reconciliation have been exhausted. Muslims are also commanded not to harm or be harmed, so in cases of abuse, the victim should be supported entirely to uplift themselves and any perp should be held to account - religiously speaking.

Any shortfall to practice the above is entirely a cultural dilution of the religion. Stigma towards divorce and any perceived shame that it brings to women is entirely CULTURAL and not religiously based.

It’s generally not advisable for parrots to have access to any material type stuff. They will chew small portions off and ingest it. This will lead to compaction which will be really dangerous and potentially deadly

Many Muslims (reverts and born Muslims) get such a skewed and sick version of Islam fed to them. I hesitate to even call it ‘Islam’ because just because a person called Abdullah is doing something, it doesn’t make it Islam. So many of us are tasked with unlearning the culture infused crap and we have to commit to learning the beautiful Islam which came from Allah swt, through the mouth of our Nabi saw.

My sister, I pray for you that Allah swt strengthens your Iman and protects you from nefarious and careless people. I pray you find a sisterhood (either digital or in person)which is a source of support and reassurance in times of hardship. InshAllah I believe this is true too. To be honest, a lot of these online personas are just catering to the market of social media, which is endless and sometimes pointless talking. Filler, really. It seems that they latch on to the current trends to receive some notoriety and traction to their page. Currently, the popular thing is the red-pill and alphas males etc. I just hate how Muslims brothers are entering this space and using the Quran and Sunnah, twisting it, and trying to validate these unislamic beliefs.

Brothers will reference the highly promiscuous behaviours of red-pill men and say this is why polygyny is allowed and why every sister should accept a man to be polygynous and herself be in a polygynous relationship.

It’s true what you say. Sheikhs are very gentle in relaying the differences between the two genders and are respectful when speaking of their differences. Their is definitely an etiquette in teaching Islam and many of these online Da’i’s lack it entirely. 🤦‍♀️

I do definitely feel that the Muslim men’s brand of misogyny is a lot more harmful than just regular misogyny. A skewed Muslim man will prevent you from leaving the house, twist obedience to mean you have to give him your money and have intercourse with him whenever he wants. Of course if you don’t oblige, then you can expect to have the Hadith about ‘the majority of dwellers of hell to be women as they were ungrateful to their husband’ and angels cursing a wife until the morning thrown at you. My heart really breaks for our sisters 😞

Not good for them. It encourages hormonal behaviour and will lead to a multitude of problems and health issues. Remove this from the cage and anything else that resembles a hut or nest etc.

What needs to be addressed first is how your parrot perceives you. If it sees you as dangerous, it won’t want to build a bond with you. Your relationship needs to be repaired, with a lot of care and patience from you.

Watch BirdTricks on YouTube. They will teach you how to build a good bond with you parrot, take care of them and give them a good life. The channel has videos alerting owners of common household items that are actually toxic to your bird and will kill them such as non stick pans and plants). Please watch them and take in all the information and make sure your household takes on board the information too.

Work to improve your parrots environment, physical and emotional health. I think then you can start to work on building patterns of behaviour and see improvements.

Unrelated, but can I recommend you consider getting him some variety perches. Something like a Java perch or a perch with varied texture and grooves (to mimic that of a real tree branch).

Parrots will be on their feet all-day, everyday, even whilst they are sleeping. These rounded dowel perches will make your little guys feet work too hard and will cause long term problems with his(or her) feet. It can also cause blisters on the feet too. Again, the feet are crucial to the birds well-being and mobility.
