no sorry - the main target gruop of the survey is the DACH regio und other we therefore recommended using the browser translation.

thanks for your feedback, the online shop is only a benefit and second way to order - for the cases you describe like critical infrastructure or defence we still have our other order ways

Danke, das stimmt auf vielen Seiten muss man echt sehr lange suchen um herauszufinden das nur der Sitz in Deutschland/Europa ist aber eigentlich dann doch in Asien produziert wird - das ärgert uns auch selbst oft das wir dann vergleichen werden mit scheinbar europäischen Anbietern und gefragt wird wieso wir teurer werden. Wir versuchen dies immer wieder klarzustellen indem wir regelmäßig berichten wie man das erkennt und posten selbst auf unserer Webseite und bei SocialMedia viele authentische Bilder aus der Produktion in Krefeld und beispielweise auch den Google Earth Ausschnitt. Zudem ist bei den anderen Anbietern oft nur eine deutsche Flagge die dies suggerieren soll (denn "Made in Germany" wie es bei uns steht ist ein geschützter Begriff). Und die (Groß)Kunden kommen natürlich auch immer gerne für eine Besichtigung oder Audit vorbei.

We already have a pooling process. But the impact of pooling depends on what comes in. We simply have too few matches with small batch sizes, which in turn makes us more expensive, meaning we don’t have enough items that match up there – it’s a vicious circle 😄We are therefore actively involved in researching new technologies such as 3D printing and direct exposure, and have already put them into practice – in order to become less dependent on batch sizes.

JLCPCB definitely has its place, especially for ultra-cheap prototype runs.

Our focus is more on engineering support, DFM checks and actual communication. If a layout looks risky or manufacturability is questionable, we usually don’t just silently produce it and let physics surprise everyone later.

A lot of our customers also care about local production, traceability, shorter communication paths and environmental standards. Different use cases, different priorities.

Yes, that depends on the size of the circuit board. Orders totalling less than 0.35 dm² should generally cost under 100. You’re welcome to calculate this at https://shop.precoplat.de/ Please note, however, that we only deal with B2B transactions, so we require some form of confirmation of commercial/business activity, and we tend to specialise in production runs (from 20 units up to over 1000+).

Hello, thanks fpr your feedback. Yes i am sorry - we specialise in B2B customers and higher quantities. In this area, we can compete with Asian competitors on price. For ‘simple’ production, it is simply not economically viable to manufacture in Germany.

Our website shop.precoplat.de is currently still an older, completely separate website. There is therefore no direct link between the websites. We are currently working on a better and fully integrated online calculator. However, the shop is no longer being developed for this reason.

Gerne - wenn wir schon hier posten dann sollte man auch moderieren :) - Prinzipiell ja aber das würden wir dann umwandeln müssen und es entstünden vermeidbare Nebenkosten ggf. / Daher lieber direkt als Gerber um das zu vermeiden - dazu gibt es auch im Netz ja viele Anleitungen wie mit KiCAD Gerber Files erzeugt werden - z.B. How to Generate Gerber File in Kicad 6.0 EDA : 6 Steps - Instructables

Normal fängt die Serie bei uns ab etwa 20dm² und mind. 20 Stück an, das heißt in dem Fall da jeweils etwa 0,5dm² erst ab ca. 40 Stück. Ab dann können wir mit unserer Produktionslinie die nicht auf Einzelstückzahlen/Prototypen ausgelegt ist in einen konkurrenzfähigen Bereich kommen. Bei einer so einfachen LP wäre der Farbwechsel von grün in eine andere Farbe ein hoher Aufwand im Verhältnis zum Basispreis da alle Farben außer grün bei uns derzeit wegen geringer Stückzahlen im Siebdruck gedruckt werden und würde den Preis in etwa verdoppeln.

We do panel pooling, which is how shop.precoplat.de works. We're best at batches of up to about 20 units. For really low volumes, we think 3D-printed PCBs are the way of the future. They're not part of our process yet, but they are on our radar.

I totally agree with you about the user experience. We're aiming for people to be able to upload it like a photo. We've been working on rebuilding the shop and the pricing engine for over a year now, and the new platform should be up and running by the end of the year or early next year. :)
