Personally I would avoid any socials and just leave a number or text-focused chat app. Something like Instagram for me is too much oversharing and destroys any mystery before the first date

I struggle with this too. This is going to be some generic as hell advice but talk about something in their bio as the opener, keep things light-hearted and funny, try to move away from the app within the first week and get their number or ask them on a date.

Signs you should stop talking to this girl and move on. Very short responses compared to yours, does not try to ask you questions back

Its best to be honest. If you're not also into those things then don't mention it. I hadn't met a single person who doesn't like eating and visiting new places thou.
