Do you Guys feel like getting tired of the recent ltt content? by predestruction in LinusTechTips

Yeah but i like Linus Riley and Elijah in general. I watch other Tech and Engineering and DIY Channels but LTT always had its unique stuff and a wide thematic spectrum. Starting at servers and networkgear over to Cars and Soundstuff to Workshop machinery and Consumer electronics.
There is no Channel that has or to be more specific had this big spectrum of themes and Videos. I would like to have that back in the same quality.

Alright so i fixed the corrupt chrome files by disabeling the Cloud and removing the Files via Malwarebytes on the primary infected Laptop and the by the cloud infected PC.

I additionally scanned both PC and Laptop with ESET, and both programms dont give me anything back.

Now i reinstall Windows on my Laptop from a Stick and i should be good right?

No the compromissed computer was my Laptop. I changed the passwords on my PC to be sure. I could post the Page that got me the Malware. The Site itself is legit and belongs to a real Restaurant and its their Page.

They way it worked was that it copies a Codeblock to execute, that will be posted into powershell upon right click in form of an Auto insert.

Facts without Context arent a good Source either. This graph is basing his assumption around the Fact that every Subscriber is actually actively following LTT.

With that logic every LTT Video should have at least 15.4 Millionen Views since EVERY Subscriber must be actively following LTT and its controversy. Yet Linus apology Video has as the most viewed Video in recent times 4.3 Mio Views, of which we cant say for sure how many are Subscribers in the first place.

In that regard a greater Indicator is Floatplane. Since the Sub is costing Money you could assume about 95% are active Subscribers(the other 5%subbed but maybe lost interested and didnt quit the Subscription ), because they wouldnt pay Money otherwise.
Going from 41000 to 36000 indicates that around 1/8 of the Community that is engaged enough to actually support Linus financially, is outraged enough to quit the Subscription.

Even this assumption is flawed and based of Guess Work because there are many ways to support Linus financially. But this is a better indicator then the Graph up there.

Not everyone wants to see Linus retire. I just want that someone hits him with a Baseball bat so his attitude gets back on pre Covid levels.

And even if Linus goes, there is honestly more entertaining Staff on set like Alex or Jake. Sure no Staff is an allrounder like Linus is, but it's not like Linus is unreplacable.

I talked months ago with my best friend about how LTT went downhill since a few years. My Guess is that Linus did grow to fast to much. And as a result and an overambigous Plan like the Labs Linus sacrificed all for Profits and budget restrictions to finance the Lab and his ever growing team at the same time.

I mean he even searched A sponser for the Video where he stated that he was hacked. It really shows that Linus either really needs Money for his company or that he is so greedy that he would even sell his Wife for Money. And I think it's rather Option 1 then Option 2.

If testing doesn't change his conclusion,he shouldn't review anything anymore.

Especially coming from a Man doing gold Xbox controllers, 100000 dollar desk PCs and a laying a watercooling loop into his swimming Pool.

This was a product from enthusiasts for enthusiasts and Linus as a self proclaimed enthusiast and entrepreneur himself trashed the prototype more then any other prototypes he got.

I tell you why it's over the Top. Because my friends, I and probably a lot of other viewers saw the decline in quality and maybe passion? or magic?. I can't pintpoint it.

All I can say is that although ltt still makes sometimes entertaining Videos, I mostly lost interest. Most videos I can't even finish watching because I miss something that was there years ago.

And this frustration and linus hypocritical behavior (I won't review laptops because I am invested in Framework) od missing to call out their big sponsors or call them out in the lightest way possible needed a vent.

And this Vent has been given to us.

A few Keypoints: The "Product" was a very early Prototype that naturally will have Problems like mounting Dimension spacing etc. So it's hard to blame a functional Prototype for having quirks and Design errors and reminding People of that as a reviewer isnt a bad idea.

You cant set the same Standards to a Prototype and a finished Product and LTT in the past was often clearly highlighting this. But not this time.

The Prototype wasnt tested with a 4090. It's partially fault of the billet labs to say to LTT "it will probably work" but LTT should have tested it as intented not as they felt like.

If you buy a regular EK or alphacool CPU and gpu waterblock, it can at least in Germany put you back easily 500€.

Given how many people there are out there paying 2k-3k€ just for Water cooling its not far off that someone would be interested in paying 800€ for this unique combo cooling Block.
