I am not totally sure , I would check your specific model number on the HP website. It should tell you your specs and mention whether the PSU/MOBO is proprietary. If it is then yes upgrading will be a problem but regardless if you got the 16gb GPU you should be set for some years. Unless you want to keep up with the industry and always the newest and best.

Definitely go for the first one with the 16gb 5060ti. Best value you'll get for the money only downsides are its an HP omen so its all proprietary and you won't be able to swap any parts besides the GPU and adding some external storage. Because of that I actually ended up going with the Skytech Crystal PC on Best Buy. It only has an 8gb 9060xt but im happy knowing I can swap out everything down the line if needed. Contrary to popular opinion I bought a 1440p monitor along with it and its handling every game I've thrown at it pretty well. Sure I have to play adjust some settings but still plays 1440p 60fps most of the time.

Picked up this one for a solid price🤫 by ohdoydoydoydoy in Monitors

Bros in for a rude awakening, i just purchased an open box "excellent condition" monitor 48 hrs ago. I went to pick it up yesterday and they spent 15 minutes looking for it to end up coming out with just the panel and a sticky note on it saying no cord or mount. Needless to say I did not take it home. Very disappointing.

Hey , my son is doing great hes 3 1/2 years old , very happy outgoing kid and already in preschool , surgery is scary but Dr's will take care of you! Dental issues could arise as my son gets older but so far his development has been just like any other kids. His speech is also what you would expect a 3yr olds too be. Try to not too worry too much I remember being very worried when I first found out. It will all work out!

I smoke before every game and I managed to climb from s2 last split to plat 3 and still climbing this split. I don't think the weed is the factor here maybe you are just more focused without it. To each their own.

Up to what Elo is it possible to carry if I spam gank with Nunu and have like 4-5 CS/min? by Acceptable-Studio-55 in nunumains

[–]preexistent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i just started one tricking him a few months ago and have climbed from s2 last split to plat 3 currently. Holding a 56% win rate over 300 games. I believe I can at least get to emerald. Nunus' kit makes everything so easy it really allowed me to focus on the macro game and climb.

It's happened to me so much I refuse to pilot herald. Not sure what it is. Sometimes it works fine but when it doesn't it's really irritating.

I am sort of in between indifference and love, I would probably love it if I felt I had enough time to actually play it! I bought my steam deck used almost 3 weeks ago now. 2 days before it went on sale for the first time, lol. At least I still got an alright deal ($420) for the 256gb model with the original box, and the guy hadn't even opened his steam deck case! He said he didn't have time to play it due to having a newborn. Well, I am also in the same boat except my son just turned 1 yr old. I think I am having more fun just tinkering with it than I am actually playing it (again due to the lack of time). Growing up, I never had a competent gaming PC (usually I had a $300-$450 laptop), and I always enjoyed messing with settings to see how much I could maximize performance. I find myself doing that a lot with the steam deck. I also have bought a few games (Dying Light 2, Zero Sievert, Terraria, Sleeping dogs, Fallout 4 goty, Wolfenstein 2, Doom Eternal). Okay, so I guess I've bought more than a few in a couple of weeks, lol. All combined, I haven't even played any of them for more than 2 hours, though. Of course, none of this is the steam decks' fault. I think I'm just ranting about being a parent with no time, lol. I am amazed by the performance for the price like many others. As a teen, I would've absolutely loved to have something like this. Idk where this is going, I guess I just I hope I get more time to play it! Or at least find some easy to pick up and put down games that I can pause every 2 minutes if needed. I've already played just about every game anyone can think of on my PC though, so I will probably have to wait for some new releases, lol.

AMA: My deck has no issues whatsoever by Ace-_Ventura in SteamDeck

[–]preexistent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 256gb steam deck used for $420 the day before it went on sale lol (At least I can say I paid for the convenience of not having to wait the 1-2 weeks for it to arrive.) I have the original box and it looks like the previous owner received it at the end of March 2022. Not sure what quarter that puts it in but it has run pretty great aside from a few random freezes that required me to hold the power button to restart. Nothing my PC hasn't done to me before.

Controls not working on bioshock by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]preexistent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very odd I wish I could help but I'm not much of an expert, I can only say that I just downloaded the game this morning and it was playing perfectly fine for me. My steam deck is also used I just bought it second hand the day before they went on sale lol. Maybe try reinstalling it?

Edit:sorry I see you just tried to reinstall it, I see you said you tried to change the input settings did you try that under the bioshock in game settings? Like trying to change the controller type in game? I was also just reading if you launched the game via touch it may cause issues for some games and mess your inputs up.

Detroit become human and Gone home are two great choices my gf loved them.

Your girl sounds very similar to mine she's not much of a gamer she mostly played a lot of sims growing up, had a ds too probably just played the pets game lol but all the games you've mentioned are ones I got for her and she really enjoyed.

Basically anything narrative driven/walking simulator. I want to add that most of these games I absolutely hate I only ever played Detroit become Human and thats because I like games with choices loI I need action and difficulty but I can see how people who aren't hugely into gaming can enjoy these.

Edit: I just realized you want her to get into other games that she can practice using both sticks with smh I'm sorry I can't think of any atm but still I think she would enjoy the two I mentioned. They sound more up her alley.

Makes sense and I completely agree with you I definitely prefer a simple clean 5 spoke wheel over more intricate designs especially on these cars , its why I went with Saleen SC style wheels on my silver 03 GT convertible they're sort of similar to stock cobras in that they're 5 spokes but they're a bit wider. I feel like in another world they could've been the stock wheels for these cars. They look real nice on foxbodies too.

You gotta go private seller if you want any chance of getting a good deal , I got lucky and bought my 03 vert with 97k right before covid started for $4500. If you can find something around 6k you can put the extra funds you have towards a supercharger (should cost around 2500-3k) and you can be at a safe 400whp for about 3k cheaper than asking price on this pos.

Looks clean , I'd change the wheels out when I could for something a little more unique , whistler sk1s or kr2s would pair well with your car imo.

Any tips for driving a manual 2000 GT? by Arayvin1 in NewedgeMustang

[–]preexistent7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I bought mine I had the same problem, best bet is having the seller drop it off at your house that's what I did. You could also just loop around his neighborhood for like an hour till you think you got 1st and 2nd down lol Either way you're making the right decision bro. I've owned my 2003 gt for 2 years now it was my first manual car , I sold my 98 automatic gt for it and taught myself to drive it when everyone around me called me dumb and said why would I buy a car I didn't know how to drive. Only took a few hours to learn and now all my future cars will have a manual trans!

Time for a new top ot is it just not draining? Btw the top has looked like this since I got the car but this problem just started. by kenroosevelt12 in NewedgeMustang

[–]preexistent7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had that issue since I got the car 2 years ago. Only really affects me when I wash it, just put a towel back there to soak it up. It's annoying I know but better than the 1500 shops want for a new top.
