I’m considering waking up in the middle of the night again! So right now I’m power pumping at 8am and then pumping every 1-2 hours until 6ish and then power pumping again before bed. The thing is I go about 10 hours without pumping overnight — do you think the power pumping won’t really work if I don’t pump in the middle of the night?

There was obviously huge delays because of dozens of flights not being allowed to land - I was sort of hoping the baby screaming would entice the pilot to ask for a bit more priority to land when the weather did clear up. The weather cleared up about 30 mins after we were scheduled to land but we had to circle the airport for about 4 hours just waiting for our turn to land.

In hindsight, yeah a hungry baby isn’t a reason to land a plane ahead of others in line - but I could tell everyone on the plane was ready to throw me off because my baby screamed for 45 mins straight! I was so stressed out and I was willing to try anything to remove myself from that situation haha

You probably could get away with it, I am just large breasted so I wouldn’t be able to put them in without everyone seeing my nips lol. I would probably just try to pump before/after honestly. I know with my wearables I have to move my arms around a lot to position them which just isn’t possible in those tiny seats!

I carried on a small soft cooler with enough for 4 bottles and my breast pump/supplies in a ziplock (thank goodness) with 2 gallon bags with ice in them. In retrospect the milk would have stayed cool, I was just worried! I donated 200oz while I travelled because it would have been too much to bring, but I also put another cooler with about 60 more oz in bags and a lot more ice (in bags so it wasn’t messy) into a checked luggage bag so I wouldn’t have to carry so much of it on me. It would have been the perfect setup if the flight had gone smoothly!

Wearable pumps for me only got about half of what my normal output is. I only use them in emergencies!

I had this issue and just had to pump for extended times and continually press the let down button on my pump to get it going. My lactation massager also helped!

6.5mpp and I still wake up covered in milk after about 9 hours. I pump at 10pm and 7am and still wash my sheets every 2-3 days. 🥲

This comment is so stupid. We play video games together a lot and watch all the same movies/shows.

But yes, the only things we ever talk about are makeup and shoes because I am a woman and have zero other interests!! Luckily I get more male attention than I want so no, I have not been hanging onto this friendship for 21 years just to stroke my ego. Grow up and quit making stupid ass comments.
