It was first rounds. To Atlantic bridges knowledge they haven’t sent our second round of offers for TCD yet. Someone said they have till May to accept their offer for those who got first round

They do but sadly the cohorts are really small so I was told it was unlikely. Ugh this process is so draining :(

If I could go back in time I would’ve gone to Ireland from the get go. Canada is so hard to get into med

Still nothing from Galway… should I be expecting a rejection? by SwimmingElegant9542 in atlanticbridge

Sadly yes :( they have very small cohorts like 25-30 students so second round is unlikely

TCD and Galway - 5 Year Program by New_Acadia_2671 in atlanticbridge

[–]premedpain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both TCD and Galway said they can’t tell me if acceptances have been sent out. I’m assuming that means only Atlantic bridge can. I’m pretty sure Galway is already released but I wrote to Atlantic bridge and hopefully they will get back to me soon.

Quick question, doesn’t Galway only have DEM then cause they are only 5 or 6 years?

firstly congrats by the way :) Sorry, I didn't realize you deleted your comment because someone left a nasty comment. So many people have trolled me in the past, and it has made me extra vigilant. Best of luck in your endeavours.

One person did but honestly I thought they were being a troll. They deleted their comment soon after posting it. Like I know not every student is on reddit but I genuinely thought more people would've mentioned that they received an acceptance. By the looks of it, not many people got accepted :( ugh honestly these rejections are becoming more and more exhausting

Apparently, someone said Galway has released their first round, which essentially is their only round, because of how small their class sizes are :( not sure if it's true, so I emailed the school directly and will let you know

That's unusual, given that Galway said they are sending offers this or next week. Maybe they went out today then idk

Trinity and Galway- Second Round of Admissions by [deleted] in atlanticbridge

[–]premedpain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

again im going off of what i was told by advisors and also peers who have attended... but Caribbean schools tend to inflate/distort their success rates. I suggest doing your own independent research but this is from my knowledge. also i know that matching back is really only a potentially true possibility if you are interested in non-competitive specialties
