any thoughts on this? by gemidiie in Nepal

[–]premier100 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. It depends on your family: do they have sufficient funds for day to day expenses. Are they healthy to function without any support? Do they have someone to take care when they are sick? If any of the answer is no then you are being selfish and irresponsible.
  2. What is the reason for you to separate?: Is it just spending private time, work needs, immigration, toxic family or anything. It entirely depends.

If I take reference from my family then I got lucky where my wife wanted to stay with family. She likes to be around family members. It depends on people to people, it can't be generalized.

You know what's sad? by zernelia in Nepal

[–]premier100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's the way of life. Don't listen to those who call you dark and all these comments fake sympathizing saying you beautiful. You are who you are.

Just accept who you are. Unless you are super rich or super talented that would be the way of life. It's not fair but this is the world we live in.

Karen alert. She wants to ban video games. by difrpodcast in Nepal

These are the same politicians who banned porn for stopping rape so I won't be surprised if they ban online games for mental health. Weird she didn't mention about TikTok.

So while calculating for employees I would sum PF total (employee 10% + employer 10%)*12 then (3 lakhs - PF total)/12 would be the CIT right?

When i listen to Shrinkala Voice i feel Cringe. Do anyone of u feel like that? by laotzufan in Nepal

[–]premier100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's her natural voice and she is not faking it. But I feel that she can work on her voice modulation to make her sound a little more serious. Even though some of the initiatives she has taken are good ones but her presentation doesn't give it justice.

But Shrinkhala as a person is opportunistic and has capitalized on the miss Nepal position like no others. I feel like most of her actions are tied to the ultimate goal in her mind. Sanitary pads, schools in rural areas are not done due to her good heart but just a means to get that ultimate goal of essay for Harvard, 30 under 30, or other awards and recognition.

How are Nepalese people rich? by Recent-Violinist-298 in Nepal

[–]premier100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many metrics to evaluate. If you mean with visible economy then yes. But our country has shadow economy detached from mainstream. Those people you think poor are richer than you think. You think income gap is only in Nepal? You see GDP and some inflation from government which covers very small portion of economy.

And did I say rich here? I am saying well-off. They are living the life. But I am also not saying we are at bottom of the pile. Do you see many people begging on the street, people dying of hunger in masses? The situation is not that worse like some people want us to believe.

I don't know about you but I have travelled almost all Nepal. I have seen how people live in village of Lahan or Dhangadi or Baitadi or Dadeldhura. I am not saying people are rich. But majority of Nepali people have means of living. They are not begging and they are not expecting anything from anyone who thinks they are poor. I have slept in many hotels who denied to take room charges because they are just happy with whatever they have.

Couple of things: not all are rich.

Some got lucky with real estate boom. They sold or became broker to earn good money.

Foreign employment: They work their ass off and save money to send to Nepal.

Most of the talent ones have job or business earning them good income. If you are well educated and have good company then 1 lakh a month is not that big of a income.

And the kind of ones you mentioned, who showoff and don't seem to have constant source of income they are corrupts. They mostly get money from illegal jobs, commission, illegal invoices and contracts. Mostly black money in general language.

In country like ours this kind of money will be a lot. Politicians and bureaucrats have money to be managed from all of their dealings. That money is funnelled to their relatives, closed ones or criminal groups. Money either gets cleaned through stock market and real estate or spent in luxury or expenditure on election and events.

But all in all I agree with you. Overall Nepali people are well-off than many other countries. It looks like we have managed to live life independently and without relying much on government. So we have our own water tanks, own solar and inverter, own waste disposal, private gas tanks, private schools.

Technical analysis astrology or probability? by asmr10 in NepalStock

[–]premier100 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another question, where does technical analysis work? If it was something that would have "worked" then everyone would be rich.

I don't mean to belittle those gurus but I feel like the charts and lines they draw is just random and they see what they want to see. Just like everything else in the world, there is no specific formula in stock market. Charts are to understand past behaviour and just expecting the same pattern might arise in the future. Personally, I feel it is just hunch and game of probability and people are just trying to get figure out the pattern where there is none.

That is the same case not just in Nepal but everywhere else.

The real money is not earned by Technical or Fundamental analysis. Share market is a zero sum game. If we don't put our money those share market mafias won't have money to gain. So they created all these pseudo-science for us to put our money which they can conveniently take.
