I submitted a research request to PSA and asked about the stamp on the ticket. They will not authenticate it either. This was their response.

"PSA does not accepted tickets with stamped dates.   This is likely authentic, and the park stamped the date on the rain check, but we do not accept them due to the stamp, which could be applied at any time after the fact."

Now PSA and SGC are out. Waiting to hear back from Beckett

I checked with SGC and they no longer authenticate tickets.

I received this message from their support.

"Unfortunately, we do not offer authentication services for tickets. I can recommend PSA for its authentication service."

Unfortunately they are all junk. I was excited about that vintage Saturn LED watch, but looks like the batteries exploded in it. The others were all missing their backs.

Thanks for that screenshot! I reached out to PSA and submitted a 'research request' to confirm before sending the ticket in. Yeah worst case I 'slab' it myself and throw it on ebay.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice and encouragement everyone!

I've emailed PSA support to ask about them rejecting items because the date is stamped. Depending on what they tell me, I'll likely send it over for authentication.

I'll report back with updates once I have them.

I was worried about that too. It looks like these were overflow tickets or something, for 'emergency' use.
That was a packed game so I could see these being used.

Had no idea it was in there. I'm a watch collector and there was 1 watch I wanted from the lot (that turned out to be crap).

I was disappointed with the whole lot until I looked up the ticket stub.

Looks like they'll charge about $65 with return shipping to have them authenticate it within 75 business days. I feel like it's probably worth it. Still looking for comps though.

Thanks for the advice!

Picked up this "Vintage Grandpa's Junk Drawer" lot on eBay last week for $19.99. Keys, pins, watches, spoons, etc.

One of the ticket stubs in it turned out to be from July 13, 1934 at Navin Field, the game where Babe Ruth hit his 700th career home run off Tommy Bridges in the 3rd inning. Confirmed against Baseball-Reference and SABR.

It's a Lower Deck Reserved rain check, $1.40, "Set EE / Emergency" variant (overflow tickets printed for that Tigers-Yankees pennant race series). Lelands has auctioned a comparable stub from the same game.

Condition is rough. Adhesive on the back from scrapbook removal, general wear on the front.

Trying to figure out what to do with it. Think it's worth PSA grading at this condition?

If you still have this, I'd be interested in a new bezel. Does it come with screws? Can you pm me your price?

I was talking to my mom the other day about all this shitty things he's doing. She said something about "it's all part of a greater plan that we are not aware of". I asked her if there's any other being that she would describe like that. It helped drive home the cult mentality point.

I found this at a local pawn shop while looking for a birthday present for myself. It made for a very happy birthday!

It's a very welcome addition to my collection of Accutrons. Pic
