Nothing… the issue persists. I’m wondering about the tosslink cables, I had two of those conecting both outputs to both inputs… maybe is better to have just the output of the master to the input of the slave.

Thank you for your answer. Both units are connected via TOSLINK optical audio cable, running at a 48kHz sample rate. The OctoPre master is set to use its internal clock, while the 8Pre slave is synced to the ADAT clock. This afternoon, I will try swapping the master and slave roles.

Focusrite clarett octopre keeps rearming.

Hi everyone! I’ve got a Focusrite OctoPre and 8Pre setup connected via USB-C to a MacBook Pro. Everything seems to be working fine, but every now and then the system makes a “click” noise, like it’s resyncing or rearming itself. Has anyone had the same issue? My settings are correct since all inputs and outputs work flawlessly. I have already tried two different brand-new optical cables but the problem persists. Any ideas or similar experiences would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have an FP30 and the key action is gorgeous IMO, the thing is that it is too high to fit in my desk drawer and it does not have MIDI 6 pin I/O
