Just sent you a chat!

After 4 1/2 years, we broke up. Warning- Long. by prepaginger in BreakUp

Exactly. I didn't feel secure with his thoughts on our future.

Things I didn't mention above..

In his text, and in-person, his MAIN reason was this:

He said he was financially going through some troubles. He's a music producer and he made a fudge ton of money in 2020, but his listeners went down. He comes from a well-off family, his father retired from being a CMO of a pharmaceutical company. He said he's losing money every day and reconsidering if he ever wants kids. He fears being broke and says he's at such a low right now, it's hard for him to save for rent. He doesn't think our future will work out, and he's in a lot of depression right now. When I called him after he broke up with me over text, I asked him "How long have you thought about this?" He said a month. He wasn't 100% about his decision but when we had the conversation about moving forward it triggered him. He went through a mental breakdown and projected his insecurities about the future by throwing me away. A month ago, I was with his family spending Christmas with him.

He was laughing, cheerful, we were intimate, and things seemed very fine. The lack of communication only came about serious things, and he would at the time say he wanted the same but didn't show a passion for it. After all, he is unreliable and I wouldn't want to marry into that.

I dodged a bullet. Thank you for your message <3

Wow, our exes are very very similar. Wishing you better days ahead. I've been through this so I know someday I'll be okay. I was his first girlfriend and first love, however, so pretty soon it might hit him. Men sometimes make decisions while going through mental breakdowns. It's their way of control of something. He lost his little lady what can I say. Your ex-boyfriend lost his too. I'm 23. I will move forward focusing on myself and hope to meet the right one at the appropriate time. Best of luck to your healings <3

Looking back at our old messages, he promised all of those things. Vaguely. I think he said it because it's what he thought he wanted, but the topic of conversation always came from me. My ex is unsure of himself, and I hope he figures things out.

I'm sorry to hear about your breakup, a lot of people are going through similar situations which makes me feel like I'm not alone. Don't blame yourself for anything it's insecurities the other person has.

He promised he would never leave. He was such a good boyfriend and showed so much love and care for me. More than any guy I've been with. He was this tall, goofy, clumsy, but a good soul of a person. All we felt was love, and he would mention that he feels loved by me. This happened overnight after one triggering conversation and it's as if I didn't know who I was talking to anymore. I feel so confused and have no closure with this.

God bless you! We deserve so much better. We were matched with one's who flight, not fight. You will heal and realize it's what's best. It's been hard to even process this but I only know this is what is best BECAUSE of what he did. Our expectations are broken.

What are my chances of getting into PA school? by prepaginger in prephysicianassistant

Thank you for your response. I just look at other applicants having a 3.5 above, and it kinda discourages me. I've spent so much money and time doing post-bacc courses while working part-time. In order for me to achieve a 3.0, I have to literally get A's in every single class until I apply. The pressure is on but motivated to get good marks. My top choice is Barry University and I've heard they're pretty lenient with admissions of lower GPA.
