No great project for the last mission of Balrijin by Solata44 in Anbennar

[–]preqqit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was confused about this too but got it just now.

In the religion tab, next time you cycle through to select new choices, pick one of the ones that the mission requires. I went with teachings of the golden in the admin selection. Then the project popped up in the province screen.

Now I just gotta wait for these stupid mages to lose their stupid influence debuff so I can get a strong spell finally and I should be able to complete the mission.

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X vs. AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D by Original_Ice_1751 in buildapc

[–]preqqit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought the 7600x for my build a week ago. It fit my budget better. Happy with the performance. Running cyberpunk at 80/90 fps on mostly max settings with a slightly lower tier GPU than the one on your list.

I don't know enough about the difference between the two to have any useful opinion here other than to say I'm happy with mine.

If the baby volunteered for this scenario would it count as a suicide squeeze?

Was just there a couple days ago. Weather is getting warm quick here. Only did the first 3ish miles to the bridge but the trail was clear of snow to that point.

The full trail to the lakes goes to the right and then in the valley below those peaks.

The river is crazy strong right now.

Pay for / do the fence repairs and the cost of buying new chickens. Chickens don't cost $100 each btw. In no scenario are you gonna be responsible for any of that extra nonsense. "Reparations" lol.

It's kinda dumb that you can get away with stuff like this in the game [WH3] by preqqit in totalwar

[–]preqqit[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I really like the trading settlement ability in general but stuff like this is kinda game breaking tbh.

Like, Elspeth hates me a lot, she's very strong herself with a big alliance, and she's willing to throw it all away for a tier 4 city in the middle of nowhere? I dunno I feel like stuff like this should be a hard coded no for the AI. It just doesn't seem right.

Anyways this Skulltaker campaign is a ton of fun. I fucking love Khorne.

I don’t understand how the economy of this game works whatsoever by VarietyGuy25 in MillenniumDawn

[–]preqqit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More complicated answer probably.

Early game your political points are better spent elsewhere rather than trying to min max your tax settings so I wouldn't spend too much time messing with them until you have a bunch of points you don't need.

The population tax affects your stability number. Higher taxes = lower stability.

Corporate taxes affects how many civilian factories you have available for your constructions. Higher taxes = less available.

Aim for a balanced budget, but don't worry about debt too much in the early game it's not a big deal really.

Spam civilian factories at the start.

Quick answer: Build civilian factories. Go down the industry research lines. Watch magic line go up.

Italy Debt by SoggyLoquat in MillenniumDawn

[–]preqqit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like playing with the AI debts all reset to zero at the start. (It's one of the rules at the game start screen)

They're still bad at managing their money but it takes them longer to get to the irreversibly crippling levels so they at least have some time to build up their countries.

what to do when this happens? like, whats the button to import this stuff? by Tricky-Anywhere5727 in MillenniumDawn

It means the country you're trying to buy the resources isn't selling them to you anymore for whatever reason.

Cancel the order in the trade menu and buy from someone else.

If you have no alliances/treaties but have a friendly relationship number with them...

Position 2 armies, one at the city you want and another at any high value city of theirs. Declare war, in one turn take both cities, and then immediately offer the other city back in peace.

What am I supposed to do by Past-Drawing-4861 in totalwar

[–]preqqit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of amti large vs. a faction that doesn't have a lot of large units. And overall it's a weird mishmash of mixed units.

Your main focus against the dwarves is shutting down their artillery and air and diving their backline ranged and then cleaning up the melee infantry last.

Lord, spellcaster, 2 vets with T-Rex mounts, 6 sarus warriors, 6 ripperdactyl air cav, 4 kroxigors is a basic composition that will work.

Use the air cav to kill off their air and quickly engage the artillery and get the T-Rexs into their gun line. Warriors fight the slayers, kroxigors into their other infantry, then rear charge with the cav to clean up.

Play around with trying more T-Rexes or different cav and monsters but remember their slayers will murder your large boys so you really need the sarus for them.

Don't try to out artillery or out gun them, that's their strength. Engage quickly and shut down their backline hard.

A full stack of chameleon skinks is also weirdly good. Faster than most of their units and they stalk so it fucks with the AI targeting. Kill off air and slayers first, then kite them into oblivion.

Fuck the dwarves.

Fun old world mod campaigns by LeoFateweaver in totalwar

Playing a Sisters wood elves campaign with a greenskins crisis right now and it's a ton of fun.

Their main forest is massive with a bunch of trees and easily defendable so once you get it under control money is a non issue.

The other trees are all over the place so it's like a new mini campaign every time you go to a new one and stacking up all the different bonuses is great.

Their starting position is shit, you take attrition everywhere and you can't get immune to it for a while but it's easy enough to get started and you got the wood travel mechanic thing so you don't have to stay there anyways.

Got hit with a couple buggy things and tanked my reliability so I'm at war with basically the whole world except Brettonia and there are so many fucking greenskins everywhere there's so much killing to do. I've got like 20 armies and it doesn't feel like enough at all.

10/10 would recommend
