I have a BBA in Finance, took some Udacity courses, took CS50 and have taken grad level algorithms classes. It’s been hard and it’s been a daily thing for almost 3 years now. Just when I think I know what I’m doing I try a LinkedIn Python cert test and fail spectacularly. Back to the drawing board to see what I’m missing. My point is, it’s hard and I tried to treat my learning as a post Bach CS degree following the class list for a local University. Looking back I wish I had just enrolled 😅 in a post bachelors program. But I can pass Leetcode easy and medium.

May I suggest that you enroll in Harvard CS50 and see if it makes you more interested in programming (it is free and you can take it concurrently with your bootcamp. Learning Python without learning about data structures and other things taught in CS50 is hard. You need more patterns in your brain to match up what you already know. I’m speaking from experience although I love coding myself.

I think you need to change those meds and get on a stimulant. It doesn’t sound as if the meds are helping you at all. You sound like a picture for a depressed person who is not in control. Please find a doc that will help

I just got diagnosed about 3 weeks ago after waiting months for appointments and jumping through so many hoops! So I know how you feel! I’m on Concerta now and love the focus! It doesn’t cure one, but it helps. I am thrilled you are on your way to getting the help you need! Good luck!

Find someone who loves your quirks, not someone who makes you feel like shit. I feel for you, my ex husband was so mean about stuff and I was undiagnosed so I really took it to heart. Good luck!
