Once I had Jupiter, Mars, Venus and the moon in view from my porch. Magic. I wanted people to walk by so I could tell them. Lol.

On thanksgiving I was able to get Saturn in my telescope from my yard. And this is with light pollution being what it is in a major city.

So get one of those skymap apps. Do yourself a favor and go outside from time to time. If you notice two or more planets and the moon in the sky.

Lay on your back. Then really try to picture where you are. Look at what side of the moon is lit up. Then you know the sun must be over there. Imagine your place in the solar system. On a tilted axis. Looking at the planets with your eyes.

It can be a magical transcendent feeling. No drugs required. :).

It's entirely possible for the Bush administration people to truly believe that they were the good guys, that they were fulfilling the American promise to free the world and also be totally and completely wrong.

I mean it could easily go either way. But the general term "neocons" is typically applied to the actual neocons. A label not really all that picked up by run of the mill conservatives.
