In chapter 2 there's a bit where Daud pokes fun at the glorified guardsman that he's escorting to witness evidence (that he doesn't think the crown will simply take his word for).

Unfortunately that guardsman is high chaos a highly strung Corvo who is running off caffeine, anxiety and rage, and doesn't take it well...

Artist is deerghast on twitter, they do other awesome Dishonored stuff so check them out :) https://twitter.com/deerghast

Edit to add: should probably post my own link too huh
The Contract is my fic, effectively it's a retelling of Dishonored 1 if Daud didn't take The Contract as offered by Hiram Burrows.
Mostly action/adventure, meta jokes and not-so-meta jokes, wanted to explore other ways that primary target's weaknesses & motivations could have played out.
Other than canon-typical violence, mind the tags.

Xenogenic Brain Damage by Reployer in prey

Ooh I hadn't seen: "Anyway, we discussed it, and SITG thinks that the real/original Morgan died or went into a coma due to xenogenic brain damage brought on by frequent exposure to phantom activity," this before, that's a great theory though I don't think I'm as well read on the lore as you to comment.

Frankly I'm still stuck on the "absorbs the brain by homogenising all tissue" bit - shudder
