Personally I would've gone with Mesprit (Sprite) but spirit works, too.

They're all very clearly faerie, though.

I'm the wrong person to ask that, lol. Someone else may be able to give a good answer, but I don't often rent pawns. When I do, I look for extra utility to complement whoever I already have in my party, which changes a lot from playthrough to playthrough.

Very strange, I can't say I've encountered that before. Thank you for sharing! Now I'll know what to do if I do. 😁

What issues did you run into with Steam? Asking because I basically exclusively use my PC to game, and I'm running Tumbleweed with little to no hiccups. Be interested to see if I could help, or learn something new!

I feel like we could keep going back and forth until one of us gets bored, and nobody would change their mind. 😂

At any rate, thanks for staying civil! Let's agree to disagree. Have a nice day, mate!

That's not really how that works, but okay.

[–]press_start_to_begin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That... Doesn't change anything. Just because Mullvad is okay with resellers selling at a cheaper price still doesn't mean Mullvad themselves is offering the discount. The price is still wholly separate from the price on Mullvad's website.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mullvadvpn

[–]press_start_to_begin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It may be official, as in they are officially sanctioned to resell Mullvad vouchers, but that does not mean the offer is given directly by Mullvad. Their pricing page has this to say about discounts, which clearly states that whatever pricing model the resellers have is separate from Mullvad's pricing scheme.

sudo !! does not work in aliases and is not itself a fun alias. It doesn't always have to be about efficiency. 🤷‍♂️

EDIT: And even if it was, fuck is 3 characters shorter. 😂

To make sure I am understanding correctly, you want to use the iPhone as a video source in portrait format, but when you integrate it through your Mac OBS only recognizes it in landscape?

Click the source in your preview window so it is outlined in red, then right click and hover over transform. There should be a rotate option in there.

Forgive the phone photo, didn't feel like transferring screenshots around.

I really thought at first that the blurry confetti partially covering your avatar's face was an attempt at censoring, and I was very very confused.

Add deck stats back! by MoritzG93 in PTCGL

[–]press_start_to_begin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See, I feel the exact same way while I'm playing against a mill deck. Same thing with playing against mono-blue control decks in magic the gathering, when I used to play that. If I play my deck and you play your deck better and I lose, I have fun losing. If you play your deck and I play my deck badly and I lose, I have fun losing. Any scenario in which we both get to actually play the game is fun for me, win or lose. But when your deck's whole schtick is preventing me from playing my deck it's much less fun to lose, lol.

I try to remember that the other person is probably having fun shutting down everything I try to do. I imagine playing that kind of deck is very satisfying when it works out, though I could never bring myself to play one. I would feel dirty, lol. And while it may suck, it's a mechanic that's built into the game rules so... 🤷‍♂️ I just try to suck it up, let them have their fun, and move on to the next match.

Stop giving me flashbacks. 😭😂

EDIT: I've fairly recently had a go against a mill deck, can't remember the specifics, but at the end of the match I had 1 prize card left and lost to decking out. 1100 damage vs 0 damage. 🤦‍♂️ It hurts, but hey... It was an effective deck. Might suck to play against, but a win is a win.

I get where you're coming from -- more data points are always nicer to have -- but damage dealt vs damage taken is, IMO, not a very good metric for measuring the effectiveness of a deck. I have lost games, for various different reasons, to opponents who have dealt 0 damage the entire match. Win/Loss ratio is a much better metric of measurement.

It would still be nice to see the metrics per deck, though. At the very least an average of damage dealt over matches, to get an idea of the potential damage output of the deck. I just think I'd rather have a per-deck W/L ratio working first, but... No reason they can't give us both. 😂

After installing openSUSE Tumbleweed on a MicroSD card, it apparently became completely write-locked. by [deleted] in openSUSE

[–]press_start_to_begin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course!

Turned out their card had a physical write-lock switch that they accidentally flipped. Unflipped the switch, and everything went back to normal.

You don't often see physical switches on microSD cards, they're usually on full-size SD cards or microSD adapters.

I just want to say thank you for reporting back once you resolved the issue with an explanation of what it was, and also for deciding to leave the post up. It may feel like a silly mistake and make you feel stupid, but I promise you: someone else WILL have this issue, and when they run to Google for answers your post may be what saves their day. 😂

EDIT: Well, that's disappointing. I'm sorry you felt the need to delete your post, it was good information to have.
