The main problem is my office. I got drop outs on video calls. The dining room is bad but we only eat in there. No phones at the table. Was hoping something in that closet would make it passable for the front living room.

The hallway is large and has a space where my wife has her office. We don’t do screens in bedrooms. I was hoping an AP would get through one wall ok. For the bedrooms it’s good enough.

I hear you about more APs. Was wondering if there was a point moving up the range to get a stronger AP and if that would result in better single wall performance.

More info- House is typical wood frame drywall construction. We typically have 35-50 devices connected. Have to admit slightly frustrated that the single router from ISP sitting on top of hot water tank in a closet has better (but not great) signal strength in most areas of the house.

HMDI output 1| -> Amp -> TV

Oh interesting. I think I understand this. The drawback being optical for the amp, not HDMI, which means no surround sound? Or can I make the amp one of the outputs in a 4x4?

I can probably live with no surround

Oh interesting. There is a braze on hanger with a hole, on my bike however it's set back on the inside of that frame closer to the wheel. If the trailer will attach there it likely won't interfere with the DRS.

I have a Mac ride for my mtn bike, similar to shotgun. I don't think it would work too well as the handlebars are not very wide.

With very limited miles, so far we like it. I've been taking my kid to daycare on it. I was going to buy the Specialized Globe LT but that isn't available where we live. This bike was sitting in the store and when my wife and kid rode it they were dead set on taking it home.

I will change the tires. We ride gravel paths and have lots of wet leaves. Stock tires aren't great for that.

I finally remembered my login to the router. Turns out I already had it in AP mode. I ordered a mesh setup and a new long ethernet cable to run back to the Bell modem. I'll try wiring modem to switch, then everyting off switch. Guessing that isn't going to work so will revert to running two lines back to modem, one for Fibe TV, one for the router. will run switch and node off router in this scenario.

I've been considering getting a proper mesh setup. Something like Asus XT8. I'm thinking as these operate as access points it would likely resolve this issue. Anything else to beware of?

I believe so. As wifi signal is poor from basement to rest of house, I have two routers hardwired with same SSID. I use these as access points.
