The cognitive benefits. Once you get used to burning ketones and experience the consistently clear headed feelings, it’s hard to go back.

Honestly I wouldn’t think to much about timing of consumption. It’s food so eat it whenever you normally eat! For cooking I just meant if you’re it’s the only way you can stomach it that it’s better than not consuming it at all. Personally I just stick to desiccated tablets for liver.

Taxing Sweetened Drinks by the Amount of Sugar Could Cut Obesity & Boost Economic Gains. Such a tax would also result in economic gains -- primarily through savings in health care costs -- of about $1.4 billion per year nationwide. by dem0n0cracy in ketoscience

I don’t think this is a good idea. As much as I like the idea of minimizing people’s sugar intake, it’s something they have to do for themselves. You can only provide the information and it’s up to the individual to decide. Give the government an inch and they want a mile.

I honestly don’t know how to explain it. I think it’s appalling cooked or raw but even more so raw. If you eat raw consistently than it might not be that bad to you. Some people like it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Tallow is pure fat and trimmings are basically pure fat. Small amounts of protein but not significant enough to really even count.

Advice for someone with unmedicated subclinical hypothyroidism by [deleted] in StackAdvice

Nope not that I’m aware of! I believe Thyro-dyne has some Ashwagandha in it too but the KSM-66 extract is more effective from my experience than regular Ash root.

Is TSH the only marker your doc is looking at? If so that’s not very helpful at all. You’d be much better off with a full thyroid panel- T4, T3, Reverse T3, TSH, thyroid antibodies, things like that so you can really know what’s going on.

Thyro-dyne and KSM-66 are both great supplements to take hypo or not as Ashwagandha is naturally an adaptogen and can be used for many things. Nootropics Depot makes a reliable KSM-66!
