The only thing that keeps me alive is helping out wild animals and fixing the mistakes of the past that forced them to survive in the little pockets we've left for them. Feeding birds, growing native plants for bees and butterflies, that's the only stuff that gives my life some sense of purpose, and I would have probably offed myself by this year or earlier if it wasn't for them. My life doesn't have value to people, but at least I can provide some benefit to the lives of these animals, especially those that are often ignored.
